4 Ways Alexa Bliss can return to WWE following Uncle Howdy's comeback: Brand switch, repeating history & more
Alexa Bliss was one of the few WWE stars to cross paths with Uncle Howdy before he disappeared from television. While she battled Bianca Belair for the RAW Women's title, Howdy kept teasing Bliss that she was not in control of her actions.
The former multi-time women's Champ has been out of WWE since the 2023 Royal Rumble due to pregnancy. She gave birth in late November of 2023 and has always been on the minds of fans.
One big way Bliss could have returned to action would have been with Uncle Howdy and The Wyatt Sicks. Her ties to the group would have made her re-emergence easy to write.
Despite that, she may not be ready for a return. When she is, however, Alexa Bliss could return to WWE in any of the next four ways after Uncle Howdy's comeback.
#4. Another memorable Money in the Bank moment
Announcers revealed that the 2024 Money in the Bank matches will have only six competitors. That limits the names that will be in the match. Last year's bouts had seven stars competing. In the past, eight stars have vied for the briefcase.
This year's qualifiers have to win Triple Threat matches to earn a spot. Jey Uso and IYO SKY did so on the latest episode of RAW. The next few weeks will see more stars join the match.
A way to provide fans with a shocking moment could be if Bliss returns the week before Money in the Bank to compete in and win a qualifying match. If not, she could make her triumphant return in Toronto during the actual event.
#3. Alexa Bliss joins The Wyatt Sicks
Due to her history with Howdy and Bray Wyatt, it wouldn't be surprising if Alexa Bliss became the group's sixth member.
She has teamed with Nikki Cross in the past, winning the Women's Tag Team titles. Bliss is also one of the best WWE talents at playing characters. Her value and track record would provide the group with a multi-time former Champion.
Whenever she returns, her ties to the group will be explored in some way. The easiest way would be to join the new faction.
#2. She goes to SmackDown or NXT
Some main-roster veterans go to NXT either to be rebooted or to help out with the next generation of WWE stars. Natalya, Baron Corbin, Shayna Baszler, and the O.C. are recent examples.
Bliss never won the NXT Championship and could help out a new women's division as it evolves. She could also go to SmackDown in an attempt to avoid The Wyatt Sicks.
Recent reports state that the new faction's chaos may extend all across RAW in various storylines. It was unclear if that also meant the group would appear on SmackDown or in NXT. Bliss has been working on RAW over the last few years, so moving to the blue brand could give her a different start.
#1. She returns to confront the group
Instead of joining The Wyatt Sicks, Alexa Bliss could return to oppose the group. Before she left, she tried to distance herself from Howdy and her past with Bray Wyatt, but he still haunted her.
Bliss could pick up where she left off as one of the main enemies of the newly formed faction. This would play off of history, making the storytelling more meaningful. Opposing Uncle Howdy would also force the 32-year-old star to integrate into the new RAW Women's Division.
Rhea Ripley was atop it but is out with an injury. Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre are the Women's Tag Team Champions. Damage CTRL is on rocky ground. Lyra Valkyria, Ivy Nile, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, and Kiana James are relatively new faces. Miss Bliss could find new allies to combat the group that may try to take over WWE.
