4 ways Seth Freakin Rollins can make his presence felt at WWE Survivor Series WarGames
WWE's next premium live event is almost here. The Sports Entertainment Juggernaut will be hosting the Survivor Series: WarGames this Saturday, which will be the third year in a row that the PLE will have the WarGames theme.
Some of the best and brightest in the industry have matches confirmed for Survivor Series. Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa, Bronson Reed, Bianca Belair, Bayley, Gunther, and various other big stars are booked for the show.
One big name who isn't booked for Survivor Series: WarGames is Seth Rollins. While some thought he'd either battle Bronson Reed or be involved in a WarGames Match at the event, neither is happening.
Still, just because Seth Freakin' Rollins isn't currently booked for the show doesn't mean he can't make his presence felt in some way. This article will take a look at a handful of ways that The Visionary can disrupt the event, which could include attacking a long-time rival.
Below are four ways Seth Freakin Rollins can make his presence felt at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
#4. He could cost Roman Reigns the win
Seth Rollins has a lot of issues with a lot of wrestlers in WWE. While much of it is quite recent, nobody has more history with The Visionary than Roman Reigns. It is clear that their past together still haunts both men.
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were once two-thirds of The Shield until Rollins betrayed Roman and their partner Dean Ambrose. Over the next decade, The OTC and The Visionary have reunited and fought multiple times in WWE. They seem to be on opposite sides more often than not, however.
Rollins was recently asked to team up with Roman and he made it clear he never would and even stated he would rather fight Reigns. Come Survivor Series WarGames, Seth could show up and nail Roman Reigns with a Stomp to cost The OG Bloodline the win against Solo Sikoa's stable, thus reigniting his feud with his long-time frenemy.
#3. Seth Rollins could jump Bronson Reed backstage
Bronson Reed has had an incredible second half of 2024. The big man made a major splash, perhaps a tsunami-sized one, by laying out multiple names including Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and R-Truth on WWE television.
The first person he attacked that set off this chain reaction of sorts was Seth Rollins. He injured the WWE Superstar and took him away from RAW for weeks. Now that Rollins is back, the two are constantly at each other's throats and are brawling all over the arena.
Regardless of Seth's opinions on Roman Reigns, he did tell Sami Zayn he plans to take Bronson out ahead of the Men's WarGames Match. While he has failed to do that so far, it could all change Saturday. Seth might jump the big man backstage and, in his mind, hopefully make sure Auszilla can't compete inside the cage.
#2. He could attack CM Punk at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
Speaking of people Seth Rollins hates, his animosity with CM Punk is at a level that very few can understand. Even before CM Punk made his return to WWE, Rollins was public in his disdain for The Voice Of The Voiceless, going as far as to call him a cancer.
CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023. Seth blew up and threw a fit and the two have had several verbal battles since then. In fact, Rollins has even promised to injure CM Punk and end his career once and for all.
When the Men's WarGames Match comes to a close, Seth Rollins could shockingly jump CM Punk. Not only that, but he might brutally bust Punk open, taking him out of action until The Road to WrestleMania. This could set up a match between the two come April.
#1. The Visionary could hit The Stomp on Gunther
A World Heavyweight Championship match will be held at the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event. The dominant Gunther will face the former champion Damian Priest.
It is expected by many that Gunther will retain his prized World Heavyweight Championship. Damian Priest is a great WWE performer and he has proven to be tough in the build to the bout, but The Archer of Infamy defeating The Ring General is highly unlikely.
Once the match concludes, supposing Gunther is indeed still champion, he could be on his hands and knees recovering from a hard-fought bout. From there, Rollins could show up and hit The Stomp. This would make it clear that The Visionary is next in line for a World Heavyweight Championship shot.
