4 Wrestlemania 33 mistakes which will be repeated at Wrestlemania 34
We are just hours away from the Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment and this year's 34th edition of WrestleMania is all set to take the show to the next level. In fact, the WrestleMania weekend has already started with WWE’s various events.
And if you want to know why the fans are excited this year, just look at the match card. You know you have a stacked card when you don't need The Rock to appear at the Mania!
With all the excitement around marquee matches, it is easy to ignore some of the WWE’s mistakes leading to the show. But when you repeat the same mistakes again and again, it is unfair to the wrestlers and the fans.
Here are four Wrestlemania 33 mistakes which will be repeated on Sunday.
#4 Cruiserweight title
At Wrestlemania 33, Neville defended his Cruiserweight title on the kick-off show, against Austin Aries. The match itself was much better than some of the matches on the main card, but it was the right decision to keep it off the main card. Why? There was just no hype around the match.
But that is not the case this year. Drake Maverick’s 16-man tournament for the Cruiserweight title has been very successful. The fans are actually interested in the purple brand for the very first time and are even rooting for Cedric Alexander to win the title.
But yet again, WWE has put this match on the kick-off show, possibly killing all the hype. It is also unfair to Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali who have worked hard in the last few months to get their Wrestlemania moment.
It will be a huge task for Drake Maverick to build the 205 Live all over again.
