4 Wrestlers who can lose their title before Survivor Series
One of the big four PPV events of the year, Survivor Series is usually a highly anticipated WWE spectacle. But this year's match card is not mouth watering by any means. Some have even called the current Survivor Series line up an instant fail. But if the recently concluded TLC has taught us anything then it is that there might be a twist in the tale. The match card can change for the better at the last possible moment.
The traditional Team Raw v/s Team Smackdown Survivor Series match will undoubtedly be the mainstay of the PPV. But the match card is currently dominated by Champion v/s Champion matches that have failed to garner even an iota of positive response from the fans. The WWE knows this very well, and thus they have been consistently stating that these matches are not set in stone for Survivor Series.
WWE usually does what is best for business. And with Survivor Series merely a few days away, the following superstars might suffer a sudden twist of fate and lose their championship.
#1 Baron Corbin
The Miz v/s Baron Corbin is hands down the weakest match on the Survivor Series card. Both these superstars are heels who generate a significant amount of heat from the fans. Thus, if these two collide in the squared circle at Survivor Series, the crowd present in the arena or the fans at home, don't have anyone to cheer for.
Also, not so long ago, Baron Corbin was Mr Money in the Bank and was slated for a mammoth push. But then things took a U-Turn for the worse for the "Lone Wolf". Even though he is the current US Champ, he finds himself in a losing feud against Sin Cara. Changing the most uninteresting match of Survivor Series, Baron Corbin v/s The Miz is a no-brainer. And if his recent feud is anything to go by, then we all who know that it will be Baron Corbin who will find himself out of a match at Survivor Series soon.
Kevin Owens does not have a match on Survivor Series at the moment. Therefore putting the US title back on him will not be a bad idea by any means. KO is a heel as well but finds the crowd rallying behind him more often than not. Thus Kevin Owens v/s The Miz sounds like a much better match, and the WWE should make it happen without any further delay.
