4 Female Wrestlers that never got the backing they deserved from WWE

When it came to the WWE's women's division a few years ago, more often than not what you saw was what you got.

The women were promoted due to their looks; WWE often ignored their talent, or lack thereof, inside the ring. The quality of wrestling was nowhere near what it is now. As a huge fan of women's wrestling, I have always appreciated the beauty of the performers in the division. What I do not understand is why the WWE fan can't have both.

There were women in the past with both qualities that were largely ignored where booking was concerned. Here are four ladies that I feel should have been booked much better by the WWE.

#4 Molly Holly

Molly Holly began her career in World Championship Wrestling, teaming up with Randy Savage, but her luck turned for the better big time in the WWE when she debuted as a cousin to Bob and Crash Holly.

Holly got a pretty decent push for a very short time during her stint in WWE, but it never really gained any traction. Every time she started getting some decent air time or storylines, she would succumb to the larger stars in the company.

Because she was a contemporary of Trish Stratus, Lita, and others, Molly Holly often was treated like an afterthought. She was one of the best in the ring, and few were more attractive. She could cut good promos as well.

She had all the tools to be successful, but despite her immense talent and skill, she was always overshadowed by Trish and Lita.

Unfortunately, most of the WWE Universe remember her from the day when her head was shaved at the Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania XX. With the right push, she would be mentioned in the same breath as one of the best ever today.
