4 WWE duos who need to be split between RAW and SmackDown in 2025

The year is almost over and WWE had a massive 2024. Business has been at an all-time high and, in the eyes of many fans, the product is better than it has ever been before. There are high hopes for World Wrestling Entertainment's 2025.

Part of the hype surrounding the coming year is that the RAW, SmackDown, and NXT rosters will be shaken up. This is courtesy of the Transfer Window, a new concept introduced making World Wrestling Entertainment even more sports-like.

So far, one major change has been seen. Former Universal Champion Braun Strowman jumped ship from Monday Night RAW to Friday Night SmackDown, and it was later announced that Logan Paul would be making the switch the other way around. With that being said, there are several big changes left to be made.

More specifically, Triple H and company officials should split certain pairings during this Transfer Window. This is owing to them having competed too much or for the sake of saving a big rematch for the future. Which are the duos that need to be separated between RAW and SmackDown?

Below is our list of four WWE duos who need to be split between RAW and SmackDown in 2025:

#4. Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan is seemingly about to wrap up

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are arguably the top two female stars in WWE today. They have both risen up the ranks and dominate Monday Night RAW. They've also been feuding for quite some time now.

Their issues date back to 2022, but things really began to heat up in 2023 and 2024. Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley have injured each other and Morgan even stole Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day away from The Eradicator.

They have wrestled several times now already and are set to clash once again on WWE RAW's Netflix premiere. After the title clash, it is best that the two are separated and placed on different shows. The feud has just about done as much as there was to do and it is time for both women to move on.

#3. Damian Priest and Finn Balor should end soon

The implosion of The Judgment Day has been fascinating to watch. Rhea Ripley was kicked out of the group in favor of Liv Morgan, but Damian Priest was also banished from the WWE faction. This double betrayal occurred at SummerSlam, earlier this year.

Finn Balor was the one who booted The Archer of Infamy from the stable. After two years of bickering on and off, they've finally been at war. Just when it seemed like the rivalry would end, they once again found their paths colliding.

Due to how long these two WWE stars have been associated together, it is time to split them up. Finn, perhaps alongside JD McDonagh, moving to SmackDown could be the perfect way to freshen up both Balor and Priest, allowing them to feud with others moving forward.

#2. Bron Breakker and Ludwig Kaiser should be split up

Bron Breakker joined WWE Monday Night RAW earlier this year. He made a splash almost immediately, feuding with some of the best mid-card and upper mid-card performers on the brand.

One person he has consistently been at odds with is Ludwig Kaiser. The Imperium member and Breakker have fought several times, both in an official capacity and in brawls through interference and various other segments. They seem to hate each other more than most WWE rivals do.

However, Kaiser has either lost to Breakker or the match has ended via disqualification any time they've wrestled. The feud appears very one-sided and for it to continue any further would do neither man any good.

As a result, it would be best to split the two and allow them to find solo success elsewhere.

#1. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns should be on separate shows until they do a third major WWE match

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are the two biggest active stars in WWE today. As a result, it only makes sense that they have been rivals since Cody returned to the promotion in 2022. This has led to a handful of major WrestleMania main events.

Recently, Cody and Roman united for a tag team match. Rhodes and Reigns teamed up at WWE Bad Blood to take on The Bloodline. While they still share a rivalry, the two were able to pull off a win. And it seems inevitable the talented superstars will clash again.

Whenever they do wrestle against each other again, it needs to be a big deal, and likely at another WrestleMania. If that isn't the plan for 2025, then it is best to split them on RAW and SmackDown respectively.

This will allow their inevitable rubber match to mean more when the time comes.
