4 WWE Female Superstars whose careers have peaked and 4 whose haven't

Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey WrestleMania 35
One has seen her career peak, but which one is it?

A superstar's career in WWE is a cyclical thing. There will be warm and cold periods, but some are kept warmer or cooler than others. Some get so hot that their careers peak at a certain period of time, and will never get as hot again.

Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.

Even Stone Cold Steve Austin couldn't equal the work he did between 1997 and 1999. The Rock never got as hot as he was in 1999 and 2000, and Triple H's reign of terror was so infuriating to so many fans because he had long passed his career peak in 2000 and 2001.

Some of today's superstars are already in the territory of their peaks or have passed them. Today, we'll focus on some big names in the women's division. They're being kept at varying temperatures and can be warmed and cooled as needed, but some have already peaked. Some may get hotter from here...but who?

Has peaked: Asuka

Asuka Royal Rumble winner
The Empress' tomorrows will never be as bright as her yesterdays

Asuka's handling on the main roster since WrestleMania has been one of the most abominable stories of 2018, but even if she had continued with her undefeated streak, won the title, and avoided the Carmella and Ellsworth feud, she would never have been hotter than her run had brought her to.

Undefeated in NXT for two years and with the longest title reign of the past 25 years at 510 days, Asuka capped her yellow brand run by going undefeated for six months on Raw en route to winning the first ever women's Royal Rumble match, an achievement that no amount of bad booking can take away from her. There's only one first.

Asuka's streak could have and should have ended in a more dramatic and meaningful fashion, but she had reached her ceiling. She might yet still become champion and give us great memories whenever WWE wants to take her out of the cryo chamber, but nothing she does will ever equal her undefeated run.
