4 WWE stars who Seth Rollins could recruit to form a new ShieldÂ
WWE RAW star Seth Rollins was not in action at Survivor Series but was asked to join Roman Reigns' team multiple times. The Visionary refused to team up with Reigns ever again, and CM Punk wound up being the OG Bloodline's final teammate for the Men's WarGames Match at the premium live event.
Rollins was furious with CM Punk this past Monday night on RAW and confronted the 46-year-old during his promo to open the show. The two stars then started to attack each other till Sami Zyan and Jey Uso came out to separate them. The former champion could be feeling the power slip away from him on the red brand and may decide to create a new version of The Shield.
Listed below are four WWE stars Rollins could recruit to create a new version of The Shield on RAW.
#4. Seth Rollins could recreate The Shield with Drew McIntyre on WWE RAW
Drew McIntyre made his stunning return to the company this past Monday on RAW. The Scottish Warrior had not been seen since his loss to CM Punk in the Hell in a Cell Match at Bad Blood in October. McIntyre returned and leveled Sami Zayn with a Claymore after Seth Rollins defeated the veteran in a singles match.
Both former World Heavyweight Champions hate Roman Reigns, and Rollins could potentially contact McIntyre and suggest that they reform The Shield together. The two stars may decide to form an alliance to take control of RAW and ensure Roman Reign's power does not reach the red brand.
#3. Braun Strowman could join a faction with Rollins
Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman captured the RAW Tag Team Championship together back in 2019. Strowman battled Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing Match on the September 30 episode of WWE RAW. Rollins interfered in the bout and attacked Reed, allowing The Monster Among Men to pick up the victory.
Unfortunately for The Monster of All Monsters, he suffered a torn groin during the match and has not returned to action since. Rollins could approach the former Universal Champion when he returns and suggest that they team up to create a new version of The Shield on Monday nights.
#2. Bron Breakker may join a new version of The Shield
Bron Breakker is the reigning Intercontinental Champion and successfully defended the title in a Triple Threat Match against Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus at Survivor Series. Imperium's Kaiser injured Sheamus' rib during the match and confronted Breakker this past Monday night on WWE RAW.
Seth Rollins could offer to have Breakker's back during his rivalry with Ludwig Kaiser in case World Heavyweight Champion Gunther gets involved. Rollins and the former NXT Champion may decide to form a powerful new version of The Shield to ensure they remain at the top of the card moving forward.
#1. Omos could return as Rollins' new stablemate
Omos has not competed in a WWE match since the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in April. The Nigerian Giant is a former RAW Tag Team Champion alongside AJ Styles.
Seth Rollins could attempt to contract Omos in the weeks ahead and convince him to return to RAW as a member of his faction. The Nigerian Giant could serve as Rollins' enforcer in the new version of The Shield, and the faction would provide a compelling reason for the 30-year-old to return to WWE television.
