4 WWE Superstars who can help Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers against The Wyatt SicksĀ
Chad Gable recently tried to get the upper hand in his brewing feud with The Wyatt Sicks. However, the numbers advantage is still not on the Olympian-turned-WWE Superstar's side.
On the latest edition of WWE RAW, Gable decided to one-up the eerie new stable led by Uncle Howdy. After weeks of being haunted by The Wyatt Sicks and the lack of assistance from his ex-stablemates, the founder of The Alpha Academy got some much-needed backup this week in the form of The Creed Brothers.
Over the last few months, there had been numerous teases on WWE TV about Gable's alliance with Julius and Brutus Creed. Now that the trio is together, fans expect them to be a force to be reckoned with. But first, they need to handle The Wyatt Sicks, and the three of them just might not be enough for this job.
So, who could aid Team Gable in their battle against the intimidating group? Here are four likely options.
#4. Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman
One of the members of The Wyatt Sicks is Erick Rowan, who fought alongside Bray as a member of The Wyatt Family. While Rowan's inclusion in the Uncle Howdy-led group makes perfect sense, there's another friend of The Eater of Worlds' who didn't get an invite, and Bo Dallas might regret not considering him.
The friend in question is Braun Strowman. The Monster of all Monsters was a prominent part of The Wyatt Family during the group's 2015-2016 run. Moreover, the fact that he's on the same brand as The Wyatt Sicks makes his exclusion from the group even more baffling.
The menacing alliance may not want to do anything with Strowman for now, but The Monster Among Men might not share the same feelings. And what could be a way more effective way of getting back at the group than by aiding the trio already fighting them?
The six-foot-eight titan might not be a big fan of Chad Gable's leadership, but there are some things one has to endure for the greater good. Additionally, a heel turn might actually benefit the former Universal Champion, given that the main roster could use a few more credible heels.
#3. Ivy Nile
While the men in The Wyatt Sicks are not to be taken lightly, Team Gable's first priority should be to find an ally who can neutralize Nikki Cross for them.
That is where The Creed Brothers might be able to help. Since their NXT debut, Julius and Brutus have had Ivy Nile as a part of their crew. The trio even received their main roster call-ups at the same time. So, given The Creeds' current agenda, their association with The Pitbull might end up extending after all.
It goes without saying that Ivy would be a fantastic addition to The Olympian's new camp. Furthermore, being thrust into a storyline of such a magnitude would allow her to show the WWE Universe that when given the opportunity, she could shine brighter than a diamond.
With all the remaining members of Diamond Mine by his side, Chad Gable might actually have a chance at winning this feud.
#2. Eddy Thorpe
With Otis, Akira Tozawa & Maxxine Dupri seemingly done with The Alpha Academy, Gable might have to think out of the box to get further reinforcements in his battle with The Wyatt Sicks.
His next ally might not even be on WWE's main roster. NXT could be where he finds the fourth member of Team Gable. But who among WWE's gifted bunch of developmental talent might be the most eager to let the 38-year-old star take him under his learning tree?
The answer to that question might be Eddy Thorpe. While the former NJPW star hasn't exactly been making waves on Tuesday nights, he does have a knack for learning from Olympians.
Ahead of his NXT Underground debut, Eddy Thorpe had Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson train him. While that Gable is no longer with WWE, the more experienced one still is, and he happens to be an Olympian too. Thus, Thorpe joining the newly-formed trio is totally possible.
#1. Otis
Some people struggle to grasp the concept of moving on, and that might be the case with Otis, no matter how much indifferent to Gable he has been acting lately.
The former Mr. Money in the Bank said not too long ago that when he was being hit with one setback after another, it was Chad Gable who was there for him. While he may have realized that The Alpha Academy that he left wasn't the same one that he joined, it might only be a matter of time before Otis just abandons all his progress and reverts to Gable to help him out.
Such a move could also be beneficial to the 32-year-old hoss' popularity with fans. It's no secret that fans were disappointed with how the Alpha Academy disbanded in an anticlimactic fashion following weeks of engaging drama. Otis was receiving monster pops from the crowd every time he hinted at putting Gable in his place.
However, if Otis gets back with Gable to assist him in his battle with The Wyatt Sicks, WWE could have another chance at blowing off the Alpha Academy saga in a way that catapults the Heavy Machinery alum into superstardom.
