4 WWE Superstars who could take the #30 spot instead of R-Truth
The Royal Rumble match of 2019 is just 4 days away, and a lot of superstars have already made their participation public for the match.
The list for the men's match goes as follows -
R-Truth, Drew McIntyre, Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Seth Rollins, Jeff Hardy, Dean Ambrose, Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe, John Cena, Elias, Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, Apollo Crews, Andrade Cien Almas, Mustafa Ali, Titus O' Neil, and Rey Mysterio.
R-Truth, who won the second season of the Mixed Match Challenge along with Carmella will enter the Royal Rumble match at #30, which is meant to be the most coveted spot of the match.
However, given how WWE has booked R-Truth on SmackDown Live, it seems unlikely that the superstar will enter the match last. In my opinion, he will be attacked backstage by a superstar who will go on to enter the match at #30, and here are the top 4 candidates for that role.
#4 Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens has been on the sidelines since SummerSlam 2018, as the Prizefighter was dealing with his knee injuries. He underwent surgeries, and now is set to make his in-ring return. Even WWE has started airing vignettes of his return on RAW episodes.
Given that he is returning soon, the best stage to book his return will be the Royal Rumble match. Owens could easily beat R-Truth backstage, and then go on to replace him in the match at #30.
Also, Kevin Owens had done the same thing last year when he and Sami Zayn took out Tye Dillinger before he could enter the match. WWE could book Owens in the same angle once again, as he makes his triumphant return to in-ring competition.
Monday Night RAW needs great heel superstars, and though Kevin Owens is loved by the WWE Universe, we all know there is no one who can work as a heel better than him.
