46-year-old star to cost the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series, sparking Roman Reigns clash?
Things are not looking good for the OG Bloodline and Roman Reigns. Survivor Series is just a week away, and they're still on the hunt for a fifth member. Moreover, The New Bloodline has already filled out their team with a monster in Bronson Reed. But, once they finally head into WarGames, a fifth member may be the least of their worries, as a 46-year-old star could cost them the match, in turn setting up a major clash with the OTC.
Now, the 46-year-old star in question may leave many confused. After all, it happens to be The Voice of the Voiceless, CM Punk. And the reason his name sparks confusion is because of the current context. First, Punk hasn't been seen in quite a while and has no connection with the WarGames match, and second, he is more likely to go after Seth Rollins than Roman Reigns. So, the question arises, why? Well, it has everything to do with comments he made recently.
In an interview with Peter Rosenberg, CM Punk expressed interest in the idea of going head-to-head with Roman Reigns. In fact, he went so far as to claim it would be a big moment. Taking that into account, and considering his current beef with Seth Rollins, there might be a way Triple H and WWE Creative can make a big money clash between Punk and Reigns happen. How? By simply having the former interfere with The Bloodline WarGames match.
Assuming Rollins ends up joining Reigns and company, Punk could make his presence felt sometime during the match and attack him. This would effectively cost the OG Bloodline the bout, angering the OTC. Put two and two together, and we have a mega clash on our hands somewhere down the line, maybe even at WrestleMania 41. But, as of right now, this is nothing more than speculation.
Roman Reigns was left stunned after last week's SmackDown
Before worrying about a potential CM Punk clash, Roman Reigns needs to concentrate on the here and now. As established earlier, things aren't exactly going well. Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline outnumber him, and to make matters worse, he received a huge shock on last week's SmackDown.
Following the episode, and after much egging on from Jey Uso, Reigns attempted to call The Wiseman, Paul Heyman. But, he was left stunned and speechless after the reply he received was a recorded message. One that claimed Heyman's phone was out of service.
Now, the OTC cannot even rely on the counsel he once had so easily at his disposal. It will be interesting to see how he navigates through his current predicament without it.
