At WrestleMania 35, there is no doubt that WWE gave fans what they wanted.

Opening the show with Seth Rollins capturing gold, and closing with Becky Lynch making history, perhaps the most emotional win was Kofi Kingston's WWE Title victory, after years of being seen as a B+ player.

A scathing backhanded compliment that essentially means you'll never make it in the main event, the WWE has no shortage of Superstars who despite vocal fans, are seen as B+ players.

But Kingston's shocking victory has given hope to many Superstars, and many fans who now believe that anything is possible in WWE.

There's plenty of stars who deserve a push to championship gold, but some have stuck out more than others.

Here are five 'B+' WWE Superstars, who deserve more than they have been given.

#5 Rusev

Rusev's career in WWE has been an anomaly.

Debuting the night after WrestleMania 30, the Bulgarian Brute demolished everyone in his way, until his undefeated streak, and United States Championship reign ended at the hands of John Cena at Mania 31.

Since then, Rusev's pushes have been stop-start, as he sometimes gets a big push for title gold, only to be halted at the last minute.

Look at his most recent reign as evidence, capturing the star-spangled strap in December last year, only to lose it the next month.

With a unique look, great promo skills and in-ring ability, it baffles many fans why the Super Athlete hasn't been given a WWE Title reign already.

A fixture of the mid-card, hopefully, the Bulgarian and wife, Lana, will be able to burst onto the main event in 2019.
