5 Best Becky Lynch matches since she declared herself 'The Man'
Exactly a year ago, Becky Lynch started a movement. She declared herself 'The Man' and since then, it's been her year through and through.
Be it taking on the 'Baddest Woman on the Planet' Ronda Rousey, taking part in the main event of WrestleMania, becoming a Double Women's Champion, Lynch has truly done it all. She has been part of some of the best matches in the year and has become the face of the company. She was even on the cover of the WWE 2K20 video game, sharing that treasured spot with 'The Big Dog' Roman Reigns.
In this article, we are going to take a look back at the five best matches of Becky Lynch this past year since she became 'The Man' in WWE.
#5 WrestleMania 35: Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey (c) vs Charlotte Flair (c) [Winner take all]
Yes, WrestleMania 35 is the first match on my list when talking about Becky Lynch's best matches in the past year. Surprised? Shouldn't it be higher up the list?
After all, this was where Becky Lynch achieved two great things together. She pinned Ronda Rousey (albeit, not properly), and became a Double Champion, holding both the RAW and the SmackDown Championships.
Well, it could easily have been higher up the list, if not for the fact that the match went on at the end of the night at WrestleMania where the crowd was worn out. The lack of crowd interaction and the myriad botches make it the least of the five matches on the list.
However, the significance of Lynch's achievements is enough to guarantee that this match is mentioned in any list that discusses The Man's most significant matches in her life. It was also the first time that a women's match was headlining WrestleMania.
The pinfall was one that could easily be disputed as Ronda's shoulders were not really on the mat, and there were one or two questionable spots early on.
