5 Best segments from 'The Best of RAW: After the Show' Part 2
In Part 1 of the best segments from ‘The Best of RAW: After the Show’ we looked at some of the greatest after-show segments by the greatest wrestlers from the 'Attitude Era’.
Superstars did their very best to entertain the WWE Universe in every possible way they could, whether it was Steve Austin sharing a cold one with the ‘Immortal’ Hulk Hogan or if it’s The Rock introducing the People’s elbow to Shane McMahon, the Attitude Era was a time that every WWE fan wanted to witness.
Monday Night RAW continued to rise in popularity even after the infamous after-show segments where the people of Seattle nearly witnessed the ‘Deadman’ do a ‘Spin-A-Rooni’.
Fans also got to witness some emotional moments within the WWE, like Ric Flair’s celebration and the Fabulous Moolah's 80th birthday celebration in 2003.
In the end, we can all agree that whether it’s emotional or entertaining, these occasional treats are amazing, so without further ado here is Part 2 of the '5 best segments from The Best of Raw: After the show' DVD.
#5 Stone Cold & Goldberg confront Eric Bischoff
This after show segment was one of the coolest ones of all time. Steve Austin and Goldberg were busy celebrating with fans from Halifax, Canada when Eric Bischoff, the then General Manager of RAW, came out to have a chat with the two men.
Bischoff had realised that he had made the mistake of making the two men his enemies and had come to see if they were willing to bury the hatchet and let bygones be bygones. The ‘Texas Rattlesnake’ seemed to take Bischoff’s offer under serious consideration and even offered the GM a beer as a sign of new beginnings.
Bischoff accepted the drink and the two seemed to be enjoying the moment until Austin hit him with a Stunner. He then threw Bischoff into the corner and began the beat down, at this point Goldberg had finished his drink and with the crowd egging him on, he delivered his signature ‘Jackhammer’ on the general manager.
It was on that day, the 5th of May 2003 that Bischoff learnt a huge lesson. Not all men can share a cold one with Stone Cold Steve Austin in the same way Hulk Hogan did.
