4 biggest feuds that can start on WWE RAW after Money in the Bank 2024 - Huge title match at SummerSlam, Rhea Ripley to finally dump Dominik Mysterio?
WWE had an action-packed show planned for Money in the Bank this weekend, leaving fans with several talking points. The recently concluded premium live event did not see any title change hands. However, there were plenty of jaw-dropping moments that gave a compelling teaser of things to come.
Now, all eyes are set on SunmerSlam, and every superstar is determined to make great opportunities for themselves. Here, we look at the four biggest feuds that can start on WWE RAW after Money in the Bank.
#1 Gunther confronts Damian Priest on WWE RAW
A failed cash-in and a controversial botch were the biggest highlights of the World Heavyweight Championship match at Money in the Bank, which ended with Damian Priest retaining his title. The Archer of Infamy will now put his championship on the line against Gunther at SummerSlam next month.
The Ring General won the King of the Ring tournament to earn a guaranteed title shot at "The Biggest Party of the Summer." Gunther will likely confront The Archer of Infamy on RAW after Money in the Bank to kickstart their title feud. Interestingly, Priest's internal conflict with The Judgment Day could see him face a heartbreaking betrayal before he meets his next challenger on the Red Brand.
#2 Rhea Ripley returns to confront Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW
The WWE Universe is desperate to see Rhea Ripley back in action after Liv Morgan has spent the last few months going after everything Mami loves. The reigning Women's World Champion is closer than ever to fulfilling her plan to take everything that belonged to Rhea - Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day. Dirty Dom was also recently caught lying about being in touch with Mami.
If Rhea Ripley is medically cleared to compete, we may see her make a huge return on RAW this week and confront Dominik Mysterio. She may dump him on live television before destroying him with a brutal attack. But Mami's biggest issues would still be with Liv Morgan, and the two could get back to their intense rivalry to set up a massive title match at SummerSlam.
#3 Seth Rollins gets a huge responsibility on WWE RAW ahead of SummerSlam
Drew McIntyre won the Money in the Bank contract in the opening match of the night at the recently concluded PLE. The Scottish Warrior looked moments away from winning the World Heavyweight Championship when he cashed in the MITB contract during the title match. But, his obsession with CM Punk returned to haunt him as the Best in the World made his way to the ring and cost McIntyre his title shot.
While the next chapter in their rivalry is likely a huge grudge match at Bad Blood, we also saw Seth Rollins involved in a brief confrontation with CM Punk. The latter has yet to return from his injury, leaving McIntyre and Rollins free until SummerSlam. Both superstars must be frustrated following the title match at Money in the Bank. Drew, because of the failed cash-in, and Seth, because of the botch per which he technically should have won the title. Triple H may push them back into an intense feud after last night's events.
McIntyre looks prepared to wreak havoc on WWE RAW following the controversy at Money in the Bank, as was evident by his outburst right after the show. He elbowed Adam Pearce, and the RAW General Manager could recruit Rollins to put McIntyre in line to reignite their feud.
#4 The Judgment Day face huge decisions after Money in the Bank
Liv Morgan got The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh a huge title match for the World Tag Team Championships on RAW. Balor and McDonagh then defeated Awesome Truth to win the tag team gold, and they may meet their next challengers this week on the Monday Night Show. While a few potential teams can emerge as the next No. 1 contenders, we may ultimately see The Creed Brothers lead that race on RAW after Money in the Bank.
There have been rumors about The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile potentially joining Chad Gable as the newest recruits in the Alpha Academy. Gable desperately needs help against The Wyatt Sicks on RAW and may seek new alliances. A Tag Team Title feud would help The Creed Brothers gain more credibility on the Red Brand. On the other hand, an intense feud could allow Balor to show how he and JD are a better tag team than Priest, with whom he had held the titles previously.
This is also likely to fuel the tension between Balor and Priest, with many expecting The Prince to betray Priest soon. The Archer of Infamy doesn't have to leave The Judgment Day now that he retained his gold at Money in the Bank, but the faction may not forgive him for agreeing to the bet in the first place. It will be interesting to see the individual directions planned for each member of The Judgment Day while the faction struggles to stay on the same page in the coming weeks.
