2017 is drawing to its end and WWE has had a great year nonetheless. A number of top-quality matches, high-intensity feuds coupled with the tremendous rise of NXT have made WWE a much better product.

#5: Bray Wyatt's resurgence
Bray Wyatt had a career resurgence in 2017, which was a delight to watch but ended way too soon for anyone's liking. The cult leader has a gimmick which should be captivating audiences every week, but due to his ghastly inconsistent booking, it has struggled to catch the audience's attention.
However, a surprising victory at Elimination Chamber followed up by a clean as a whistle victory over AJ Styles and John Cena led many to believe that his time had finally come. An engaging rivalry with Randy Orton followed, which culminated in a highly disappointing fashion at Wrestlemania.
Ever since he was drafted to RAW, Wyatt has struggled to find his feet in the crowded main-event scene. His stock has fallen once again and he has been relegated to the mid-card. If Wyatt had stayed on Smackdown as a champion, things could have been way different for both the "Eater of Worlds" and Smackdown Live.
