5 biggest names that will not wrestle at WrestleMania 35
There are only less than two days left for WrestleMania 35. The MetLife Stadium in New York will witness a historical WrestleMania that may span over a mammoth total of eight hours. The 2019 edition of WrestleMania would also mark the first time where the main event would be contested between women. RAW Women's champion Ronda Rousey, Smackdown LIVE Women's champion Charlotte Flair and the 2019 Royal Rumble winner Becky Lynch will headline WrestleMania 35 in a Winner Takes All match.
While the Show of Shows this year has a packed card ranging from regular singles grudge matches to the triple threat main event - some humongous names are missing from the cards - even with two battle royales. Some Superstars are injured and are in a recovery period. However, some of the regulars in WrestleMania are also not making an appearance this time. In this list, we will take a look at a few of the biggest names that will not wrestle at WrestleMania 35.
#5. John Cena
John Cena was WWE's franchise player a few years ago. However, times have changed, and now, Cena is a top star in Hollywood. Still, the Cenation leader often finds time to compete at the Showcase of the Immortals.
At the WrestleMania of last year, Cena challenged the Undertaker in a losing effort. The year before, he teamed up with Nikki Bella to take on the team of The Miz and Maryse. Even at WrestleMania 32, Big Match John made an appearance despite being injured at that time.
However, this time, that may not be the case. Cena is not advertised for the event. Even he makes an impromptu appearance, he would be involved in a match since the event is already long enough.
