5 blockbuster WWE returns that may happen on the RAW after Survivor Series 2024
Without any big returns during Survivor Series 2024, could WWE be saving them for RAW? The event ended with the victorious OG Bloodline and CM Punk celebrating after beating Solo Sikoa's team.
The women's WarGames contest also came and went without any names appearing or returning to affect the match. No one confronted Gunther after he successfully defended the World Heavyweight Title against Damian Priest.
Could a shock return be in store for the next episode of Monday Night RAW? The next five blockbuster returns could be in store.
#5. Braun Strowman is always good for a car crash segment
Braun Strowman has been out of action for a few months now. He was helping the Miz against Bronson Reed but suffered an injury after that brief feud. With Reed's side losing at WarGames, Strowman could return to rub salt in his wounds.
The Monster of All Monsters could also re-emerge to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. The Ring General is fresh off his latest defense so he wouldn't be defending the title so soon after WarGames.
WWE could book it for Saturday Night's Main Event or a future episode of RAW before the move to Netflix.
#4. Big E should be part of the New Day's 10-year celebration
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods could reconcile, implode, or agree to go their separate ways during their 10-year celebration on RAW. The pot almost exploded on last week's show following a quick loss to Alpha Academy.
Woods and Kingston got a lot off their chests, leaving the possibility of a happy ending during the celebration in doubt.
One easy way to get the fans behind a reconciliation would be for Big E to be involved in the segment. There wouldn't be a New Day without Big E, so his presence could shock the WWE Universe during RAW.
#3. Alexa Bliss could be nearing a return to RAW
RAW and SmackDown desperately need some new or returning faces to recharge the divisions. The same four or five women have led the charge weekly on SmackDown.
Blair Davenport randomly popped up to eat the pin on last week's SmackDown. Bookers had to air vignettes for Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria since so much focus was placed on the build to WarGames. Alexa Bliss was one of the most complete performers in the division.
Her absence due to pregnancy has been felt. Becky Lynch has also been away, leaving the division without several reliable veterans and credible title challengers. Bliss could pop up to join The Wyatt Sicks angle or challenge Liv Morgan for the gold.
#2. Drew McIntyre will be on a warpath when he comes back
CM Punk returned to action two weeks ago after taking time off following a brutal Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. He competed in WarGames and will open RAW.
While Punk definitively won their feud, Drew McIntyre cannot be happy with how he lost inside the cage. He's been out longer than Punk but could crash The Best in the World's segment.
The Scottish Warrior could also wreak havoc during the New Day segment. He might pivot to challenging Gunther or Bron Breakker if he is truly finished with The Best in the World.
#1. Gunther disrespected a WWE legend at Bad Blood
Gunther will never be able to rest due to the number of hungry challengers coming for his title. Both of his victories over Damian Priest came with outside help from Finn Balor.
The champ kicked Balor for interfering, so the doubt Priest sowed in his mind still exists. If Punk, McIntyre, or another RAW star doesn't step up to Gunther, then a former WCW Champion could finally make his return to the ring.
Gunther insulted Goldberg at Bad Blood in October. The former Atlanta Falcon could have popped up after The Ring General beat Priest but nothing happened.
Goldberg could either confront or attack Gunther to set up an eventual match for the World Heavyweight Title. It could happen at Saturday Night's Main Event, the RAW Netflix debut, or the Royal Rumble next year.
