5 booking options for Roman Reigns after WWE No Mercy 2017

What will be the Big Dog's next conquest?
What will be the Big Dog's next conquest?

Coming off a seminal moment in his career with the victory over John Cena at No Mercy, how the WWE decides to advance Roman Reigns next is of paramount importance.

Will he take the route many are resigned to think he might, being portrayed in an invincible light and going over all the talent like John Cena v 2.0?

Or will we see closely contested, hard-hitting, edgy programming the likes of which made his feud against Braun Strowman such a success?

Considering that it's a virtual certainty his coronation awaits at WrestleMania 34, it would be prudent for the WWE to play their cards right in the hope that he gets over as much as possible with the fans in the remaining months.

So what lies next for the Big Dog after No Mercy?

Join us, as we run through 5 possible booking options for him.

#1 Braun Strowman

As a fan, personally, I'd pay to watch Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman go at it once again.

I understand why the WWE may resist pulling the trigger on this feud so soon after it appeared to reach a conclusion but the truth is that the hard-hitting duo is probably the closest we're going to get to a Stone Cold vs the Rock-esque rivalry in today's climate.

Of course, lacklustre losses like the one he suffered against Brock Lesnar at No Mercy certainly doesn't help Strowman's cause but a couple of victories against Roman Reigns should be able to help him recapture some the sheen he lost.

Also, he managed to do something that many established Superstars failed to do. He got Roman Reigns over.
