5 botches, slip-ups, and outrageous moments from WWE TLC 2017
After a viral outbreak, that drastically changed the Raw roster in the final days leading up to WWE TLC, WWE made the best of what they had to work with. This resulted in a Kurt Angle in-ring return as well as a first-time dream matchup between two of the best wrestlers alive. Arguably, the show ended up being much better than originally planned.
There was plenty of fun on this card but like always, there was a fair share of mishaps along the way. Some of the botchy moments ahead include a tragically lost voice for one of the most notorious trash talkers in WWE, a couple of stubborn tables that a Shield member was subjected to, and what appeared to be a literal homicide in the main event. Somebody should really consider checking on Braun, by the way.
Plenty of outrageousnesses happened on TLC 2017, beginning with a silly pinfall attempt by Alicia Fox on the pre-show.
#5 Not a Falls Count Anywhere match
The pre-show of TLC suffered a huge setback when Drew Gulak’s 277-page PowerPoint Presentation was abruptly cancelled due to time constraints. Being the only other thing advertised for the kickoff, Sasha Banks vs Alicia Fox needed to deliver. To their credit, they put on a solid contest.
One minor hiccup between bells came after Foxy hit a beautiful tilt a whirl backbreaker outside of the ring. She must have gotten a little carried away with her self because she immediately went for the cover on the floor. Since this wasn’t a falls count anywhere match, she quickly got up after realizing her mistake.
Perhaps if she had enough forethought to roll The Boss inside of the ring, she might’ve scored the pinfall.
