5 Consequences Jey Uso could face for rejoining the OG Bloodline

Jey Uso reunited with Jimmy Uso this past Friday night on WWE SmackDown. The veteran lost the Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker in the main event of last week's episode of WWE RAW.

The 39-year-old interfered in The Bloodline's WWE Tag Team Championship defense against Motor City Machine Guns on SmackDown, costing his former faction the titles. After the match, he hugged Jimmy Uso as Roman Reigns watched from the entrance ramp.

Listed below are five consequences Jey Uso could face for rejoining the original Bloodline.

#5. Jey Uso could ruin his friendship with WWE RAW star Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn confronted The Usos backstage on RAW tonight. The Yeet Master asked Jimmy Uso to leave them alone so they could have a conversation. The former Honorary Uce questioned why Jey would want to return to The Bloodline after everything Roman Reigns had put him through.

Uso got frustrated with Zayn's questioning and suggested that he didn't understand because he wasn't a part of their family. The Bloodline betrayed Zayn at Royal Rumble 2023 after he refused to hit Kevin Owens with a steel chair.

Zayn and Owens defeated The Usos to become champions in the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles. Sami likely still holds a grudge against The Bloodline for betraying him in the past, which might cause the end of his friendship with Jey Uso.

#4. The veteran's singles run is now over

Jey Uso captured the first singles championship of his career last month on WWE RAW. He defeated Bron Breakker on the September 23 episode of the red brand, but his reign as Intercontinental Champion only lasted 28 days.

The former champion has decided to reunite with Jimmy Uso and potentially Roman Reigns to combat the new version of The Bloodline. As a result of that decision, he will likely not be competing as a singles star anytime soon.

#3. Sami Zayn could turn heel to reunite with Kevin Owens to battle The Usos

Kevin Owens turned heel earlier this month and attacked Cody Rhodes in the parking lot following WWE Bad Blood. The Prizefighter also went after Randy Orton with a backstage attack on a recent edition of SmackDown and will be squaring off against The Viper at Crown Jewel this Saturday.

Sami Zayn lost the Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker at SummerSlam in August and has been floundering lately on the red brand. Zayn could decide to reunite with Kevin Owens and potentially have another clash with The Usos down the line.

#2. Uso is now the enemy of Solo Sikoa

The Bloodline has caused a lot of friction in Jey Uso's family. Jimmy betrayed him last year at SummerSlam 2023 and helped Roman Reigns win the Tribal Combat match. This resulted in the former Intercontinental Champion exiting the faction and jumping to WWE RAW to become a singles star.

Solo Sikoa is also the brother of The Usos in real life, and once again, issues within The Bloodline have caused strained relationships in the veteran's family. By reuniting with the original members of the faction, Jey has become the enemy of his brother once again. It took The Usos months to patch up their differences, and only time will tell how long it will take to repair the relationship with Sikoa.

#1. The former champion could have issues with Randy Orton on WWE SmackDown

Randy Orton and Jey Uso had a conversation last November on WWE RAW. The Legend Killer warned him not to get involved in his business with The Bloodline and noted that they would be on good terms as long as that was the case.

Orton could take issue with Jey Uso's decision to return to the faction and may reference the conversation the two stars had last year. Following his rivalry with Kevin Owens, Orton could confront Jey Uso on WWE SmackDown and note that the issues between them now have to be resolved since he returned to the faction.

The Usos defeated Randy Orton and Matt Riddle (RK-Bro) on the May 20, 2022, edition of SmackDown. Orton missed over a year of action due to a back issue following the match and could decide to hold Jey Uso accountable after he reunited with his brother on WWE SmackDown.
