#1 Baron Corbin defeating Kurt Angle in his final in-ring match at WrestleMania 35
![Absolutely disappointing](https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2019/05/c8831-15584611469429-800.jpg)
Imagine if I told you years ago that the man, who is arguably one of the greatest technical wrestlers to ever step foot between those ropes will face Baron Corbin in his final match?
Kurt Angle's farewell match at WrestleMania 35 not only saw him tussle it out with Corbin, but also lose to The Lone Wolf in terrible fashion.
The idea of putting someone over at the biggest stage is understandable, but considering that the two were constantly pitted against each other ever since Corbin was announced as Monday Night Raw's Constable, the fans saw through Vince's personal agenda.
I still remember the night Kurt Angle chose Corbin as his WrestleMania opponent and the crowd never really recovered.
Since everyone in the internet wrestling community was expecting John Cena to return and take us back to the days when wrestling was fun, the company never really considered making any sort of alterations in the bout.
Granted that Angle's in-ring work was lacking flavor, just the interaction of two outstanding characters who share such history would have been enough to elicit a headlining-worthy clash at The Show of Shows.
Instead Mr.McMahon went ahead with his original decision and even if Baron Corbin would have churned out a classic with The Olympic Gold Medalist, it wouldn't have changed anything.
