5 current WWE Superstars who sell the most tickets
WWE's ticket sales have been a hot button topic lately. Fans have been taking photos of sections filled with empty seats that the company cleverly hide using strategic camera work and even by moving people around and spreading them out.
It's nothing new though and likely not something that WWE are panicking about. The wrestling business naturally has more popular and less popular periods. Plus WWE just announced their best quarter ever, so it's clearly not having that much of an impact.
Over the years though there have clearly been stars that have drawn more fans than others. Superstars whose presence on a card alone will sell a lot of tickets. Which five Superstars on the current roster do that better than anyone else in WWE?
#5 Triple H
Triple H is without question destined to not only be in WWE's Hall of Fame once he retires from in-ring competition, but also to be attached to the company for the rest of his life. When Vince McMahon passes away or passes the torch it will be to The Game.
No one understands the ins and out of the business quite like The King of Kings. His success with NXT may suggest that he is even more clued in nowadays than his father-in-law. As he demonstrated on WWE's most recent UK tour he also knows what sells tickets.
Due to Roman Reigns being sidelined with a virus WWE needed a big name to replace him on the tour. Triple H quite rightly inserted himself into that spot. There are not many names bigger than his and if there were tickets left over, Triple H's addition to the card likely changed that.
