The Deadman will rise again

The first episode of WWE Raw was taped on January 11, 1993, and was aired live on the USA Network from the Grand Ballroom at the Manhattan Center Studios. The episode included tons of superstars who went on to become legends, but none of them are as popular and loyal to the company than The Undertaker. The Deadman defeated Damien Demento on the first episode of Raw and is still considered one of the greatest things that ever happened to the company.

There's no argument in the fact that there can be no 25th Anniversary without 'The Phenom', who led the locker room and made WWE the global phenomenon it is today. The Deadman has given his heart and soul to the business and remains the most prestigious Superstar that ever graced the squared circle.

His WrestleMania streak played a prominent role in defining his monumental legacy but, unfortunately, 'all good things come to an end'. The Deadman is advertised to appear on January 22, 2018, and would be definitely booked to have a prominent role on the show. Here are the five directions for the Undertaker's role at Raw 25:

Will the Phenom finally hang up his boots?

The Undertaker, with his terrifying gimmick, has entertained the WWE Universe for more than two decades and still continues to command great fanfare from them every time that gong hits to signal his arrival. His unique WrestleMania streak has solidified him as the greatest of all time.

However, the streak came to an unfortunate end when The Deadman lost to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, and another disappointing loss to Roman Reigns last year was considered as his final ride.

There has been no confirmation up until now about The Undertaker's role at the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw but since WWE billed the match with "The Big Dog" to be his last, there could be a possibility that The Deadman may announce his retirement and hang up his boots.

It would be miserable to see a character that has entertained us for a quarter of a century bid farewell to the WWE but, unfortunately, all good things come to an end. Expect an incredible ovation for The Deadman if it happens, with a chorus of 'Thank You, Taker' chants.
