When one thinks of the Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling, names like The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Stone Cold Steve Austin immediately come to mind. Some also throw in the name of John Cena, a 16-time WWE Champion.

The name that almost always misses these lists is of Triple H, EVP of WWE and one of the most decorated athletes in the history of wrestling. He made his debut in the mid-90s and went on to carve a legacy for himself that is matched by none. Finn Balor is one of the most popular Superstars in the world and made his way to WWE after paying his dues in Japan. Triple H immediately knew that he had scored something special in Balor and that he had the right tools to become one of the greatest champions in WWE for years to come.

When Balor made his way to the main roster in 2016, he won a shot at the brand new Universal Title against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2016. He came out as The Demon at the PPV and went on to become the first-ever Universal Champion. Unfortunately, Balor suffered an injury during the match and was forced to relinquish the title immediately. A still from a WWE special shows a distraught Triple H crying during Balor's speech.
