5 former WWE stars who are completely unrecognizable

WWE Superstars spend a lot of time crafting their look, hoping to appeal to as many wrestling fans as possible. The Undertaker's gimmick will stand the test of time due to his presentation alone, let alone all of the memories he created for wrestling fans throughout his illustrious career.

However, stars often become unrecognizable over time as they are not focused on crafting an image for television. There are many legends from the past that no longer look the same as they did during their days in the ring.

Listed below are five former WWE stars who have become unrecognizable.

#5. WWE legend Sable is now unrecognizable

Sable is married to Brock Lesnar in real life. The Beast Incarnate has not appeared on WWE television since he was defeated by Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. Rhodes and Lesnar shook hands following the match in an unscripted moment.

A new photo of Sable surfaced last week and the legend looked completely unrecognizable. The 55-year-old was known for her long blonde hair, but her new hairstyle is dark brown.

#4. Steve Blackman looks completely different

The YouTube channel WWE Vault recently shared a video featuring Steve Blackman and his appearance has changed drastically over the years. Blackman introduced his legendary hardcore brawl with Shane McMahon at SummerSlam 2000 in the video.

Blackman has not performed in a match for the company since 2007. The veteran returned to compete in the 15th Anniversary Battle Royal on the December 10, 2007, episode of RAW. Ted Dibiase won the Battle Royal and was scheduled to appear at Saturday Night's Main Event tomorrow night, but dropped out of the show due to a minor medical procedure.

#3. Rick Boogs is in phenomenal shape following his release from the company

Rick Boogs was a popular WWE Superstar during his time in the company and spent some time in a tag team with Shinsuke Nakamura. The King of Strong Style recently returned from a hiatus and defeated LA Knight at Survivor Series to become the new United States Champion.

Boogs was released by the promotion in 2023. The veteran has not competed in a match since the SlimJim Battle Royal won by LA Knight at SummerSlam last year. The 37-year-old recently shared an update on social media and looked to be in the best shape of his life.

#2. Tucker looks unrecognizable now

Tucker was once a part of the popular tag team known as Heavy Machinery alongside Otis in the company. Unfortunately, Tucker was released by the company in 2021. Otis is currently a member of the Alpha Academy faction with Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri on RAW.

The Alpha Academy member reunited with Tucker earlier this year and shared an image on social media. Tucker no longer has long hair and is now sporting an impressive beard following his retirement from the ring.

#1. Beth Phoenix is in great shape following her departure from the company

Beth Phoenix's time in the promotion came to an end earlier this year. The Glamazon has not wrestled since teaming up with her husband, former WWE star Edge, now known as Adam Copeland in AEW, to defeat The Judgment Day's Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor in a Mixed Tag Team Match at Elimination Chamber 2023.

The former champion is still in phenomenal shape and shared an unrecognizable selfie earlier this year with a shredded physique. The Hall of Famer has not made an appearance in the wrestling business since her departure from the company in August.
