5 Former WWE Superstars who should return in 2019
With the TLC pay-per-view, another year of exciting WWE programming is about to end. Many former superstars made their returns this year to boost viewership and to recreate the nostalgic moments for the fans, which they wait for.
However, 2018 was a year to forget for Vince McMahon and co. as WWE company’s main shows were receiving very low viewerships.
To make things well again, Vince McMahon has decided that he will be in power to control both brands on TV along with his son, daughter, and son-in-law.
So, we can expect that along with some new faces on the roster, we could also see many former big stars return. Though a sort of cold war is going on between the WWE and some of its former superstars but to make 2019 better, these superstars should be seen in the squared circle.
Without any further ado let’s have a look at the 5 WWE superstars who should return to WWE in 2019.
#5 Batista
Batista returned to WWE in 2013 in the Royal Rumble match and won it to earn a title shot at Wrestlemania. But, he left WWE in 2014. After a long hiatus he returned on the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live which featured a reunion of Evolution.
At the marquee show he teased a match with the game, Triple H. Since then, speculations are being made that Triple H will face the animal Batista at the grandest stage of them all, next year. It is unknown when and where Batista will return to WWE but we could see him before or after the Royal Rumble PPV to start the feud with Triple H.
Batista has also mentioned in some interviews that he wants another run in WWE and probably as a full-time wrestler. If Batista signs with WWE, an extra star factor will be added and it would really help to boost ratings of WWE. A guy who can get quality matches and has a desire to work with the company one more time, WWE should not waste time to book this superstar’s return as soon as possible and announce a match for Wrestlemania 35.
