5 free agents who should choose WWE over All Elite Wrestling
All Elite Wrestling is set to bring a very interesting change to the wrestling scene in 2018. The announcement was certainly expected for a couple of months, but no one knew just how big a scale they planned to expand on.
With the backing of multi-billionaire Tony Khan, it seems as though both funding and a potential television deal are taken care of. This is a big deal for AEW, as TV deals can make the biggest difference in the wrestling world.
AEW is clearly in it to win it, and after their announcement, the wrestling rumour mill went abuzz with all kinds of superstars who could potentially sign with AEW. Whether it was free agents or WWE superstars looking to get out of their contracts, AEW is in the hunt for talent.
There are going to be a lot of superstars who will benefit more by being in AEW over WWE, but these superstars should choose WWE over AEW. Some of the names on this list may surprise you!
#5 James Storm
James Storm is a veteran of the business and has been a part of TNA for many years before calling it quits. He was supposed to sign with NXT, but chose not to and opted to re-sign with Impact Wrestling instead.
He finished his commitments with Impact in 2018, and is currently a free agent. As cool as it would be to see The Cowboy take on new challenges in AEW, he's a wrestler who's simply more suitable for WWE.
He's 41 years old and is a wrestler with a stronger character rather than being an in-ring technician. He could have a run simply staying in NXT, where he would undoubtedly be a veteran presence and locker room leader.
