Can you think of a week better than one that hosts the Biggest Party Of The Summer?

WWE was filled with great moments and surprises this week as we got to see a lot happen during SummerSlam and the Raw and SmackDown that followed it.

Legends such as Trish Stratus and Goldberg returned to show why they are still considered the greatest, while Bray Wyatt debuted his new character and gimmick to amaze the WWE Universe.

This was followed by a surprise return on Monday Night Raw, and a big SmackDown Live debut match on Tuesday. Thus, the week was filled with some of the greatest moments we have seen from WWE throughout the year.

In this article, we will look at the five things that WWE got absolutely right this week and how they gave us some of the greatest moments of the year.

Mustafa Ali was the first man to make the big jump from the Cruiserweight division, 205 Live, to SmackDown Live, and immediately got the spotlight and big push that he very much deserved.

However, after the Superstar Shakeup, two more men who were moved from the Cruiserweight division to the main roster were not as successful. Both Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy are former Cruiserweight Champions unlike Ali, but remained under the radar for the longest time.

Now, thanks to fans spotting Murphy after the mysterious attack on Roman Reigns and Cedric partnering with The Big Dog, we have the two men getting some spotlight and a chance to shine.

This week on RAW, Cedric Alexander had an extremely good match with The Red Brand’s biggest heel, Drew McIntyre. On the other hand, Murphy got a chance to be on the preshow of SummerSlam where he took on Apollo Crews before getting attacked by Rowan. He followed that up with a great match against Roman Reigns on SmackDown Live this week.

Finally, the Cruiserweights are getting the recognition they deserve on the main roster.
