5 last-minute predictions for WWE Saturday Night's Main Event - Two new champions, two huge returns & a shocking break-up

We are less than 24 hours away from WWE's final major show of the year, Saturday Night's Main Event. The classic program is making its televised return after nearly two decades, with some huge matches on the card.

Three titles will be defended, while the inaugural Women's United States Champion is set to be crowned. We can expect some huge twists along the way, too. So, with that in mind, here are our last-minute predictions for the return of Saturday Night's Main Event.

#5. Chelsea Green wins the Women's US Title at Saturday Night's Main Event

The final of the Women's United States Championship tournament is set, with Chelsea Green and Michin ready to battle it out at Saturday Night's Main Event. Only one of them can be the first-ever Women's US Champion, and all signs point towards the heel.

Green has been extremely vocal about winning the title ever since Nick Aldis introduced it. She would be even more entertaining with it, so expect WWE to pull the trigger on a big win for The Hot Mess. Piper Niven could interfere to tilt the match in Chelsea Green's favor.

#4. Jey Uso returns during Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn

Drew McIntyre returned to WWE last week and is waging war on the OG Bloodline. The Scottish Warrior has attacked Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso, while secretly taking out Jey backstage. That could come back to bite him at Saturday Night's Main Event, where McIntyre is facing The Honorary Uce.

Since both superstars need to be protected, WWE can book a non-finish over here. Jey Uso should make his return here and attack Drew McIntyre, giving him the disqualification win. It would be an interesting next step in the Scotsman's battle against the OG Bloodline. He might even look for some help from next week onwards.

#3. Liv Morgan retains her title but is confronted by a returning Charlotte Flair

Liv Morgan will defend her Women's World Championship against IYO SKY at Saturday Night's Main Event. She is expected to retain the title after shenanigans involving Raquel Rodriguez before Rhea Ripley stakes her claim for a rematch. However, what if Mami is banned from the building, leaving someone else to confront Morgan after the match?

Charlotte Flair is rumored to return to WWE as soon as tonight. With no other place to fit her into the show, a staredown with Liv Morgan is one way for it to happen. However, don't expect this to lead to The Queen challenging for the Women's World Title. Rhea Ripley is still next.

It can simply be a warning that Flair is ready to challenge for gold, while she declares herself for the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble Match. The 14-time world champion's presence has been missed so hopefully, Charlotte is back at Saturday Night's Main Event.

#2. Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor fight after Gunther retains his title

The Judgment Day is in trouble. Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor aren't on the same page heading into the latter's World Heavyweight Championship match. The Prince will face Gunther and Damian Priest in a triple threat at Saturday Night's Main Event, with The Judgment Day likely getting involved.

Dirty Dom could botch an interference and cause Balor to lose, leading to a huge fight between the two. While Gunther might be satisfied with retaining his title, Priest would likely enjoy The Judgment Day's potential implosion. Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio cannot co-exist any further, so something's got to give at Saturday Night's Main Event.

#1. Kevin Owens wins the Undisputed WWE Title at Saturday Night's Main Event

Here we are. The truth main event on Saturday night. It has been three months since Cody Rhodes last defended his Undisputed WWE Championship and over two months since Kevin Owens attacked him outside his tour bus.

KO has been excellent as a heel, while this is the most interesting The American Nightmare has looked since WrestleMania XL. So, to ensure Owens and Rhodes can continue their feud, the Undisputed WWE Title must change hands. After all, their last match at Bash in Berlin ended with the champion winning.

It needs to be Kevin Owens who comes out on top this time, after taking advantage of any lower body weakness Cody Rhodes may have. What a moment it would be for the challenger, especially after the second-generation star enters Saturday Night's Main Event with the Winged Eagle WWE Title belt. KO can spoil the party.
