5 matches WWE can add to Bash in Berlin 2024
WWE Bash in Berlin is set to take place at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany, on Saturday, August 31. It will be the first ever premium live event to be held in Germany.
So far, two big matches have been confirmed for the event, which includes Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Championship and GUNTHER vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship.
With that being said, let's take a look at five matches that could be added to Bash in Berlin in the coming weeks.
#5. Roman Reigns returns to the ring at Bash in Berlin against Solo Sikoa
Roman Reigns last competed in the ring in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania XL, where his historic Undisputed WWE Universal Title reign came to an end at the hands of Cody Rhodes.
The Original Tribal Chief went on a long hiatus after his loss and made his return in the main event of SummerSlam to take out Solo Sikoa.
Things have quickly heated up between Reigns and Sikoa, so it is possible that they face off at Bash in Berlin later this month. The match could even be a Tribal Combat match, with the winner earning the title of Tribal Chief.
#4. The Terror Twins vs. Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan
Dominik Mysterio finally betrayed Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam to help Liv Morgan retain the Women's World Championship. Later that night, Damian Priest lost the World Heavyweight title to GUNTHER after being betrayed by Finn Balor.
Triple H does not book the top women's titles in the company to be defended on every premium live event, so there likely won't be any title defense by Liv Morgan at Bash in Berlin.
Based on how things are going, it is likely that Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley will take on Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan in a mixed tag team match at Bash in Berlin.
#3. Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov - Intercontinental Championship match
Bron Breakker defeated Sami Zayn in a dominating fashion to capture the Intercontinental Championship at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
The second-generation superstar will defend his title against The Underdog from Underground in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match on the upcoming episode of WWE RAW. It is likely that Breakker will win the rematch and move on to find a new challenger ahead of Bash in Berlin.
The next star who could step up to the Intercontinental Champion is most possibly Ilja Dragunov. The Mad Dragon has been feuding with Breakker throughout the summer and was injured in a match against the latter a few weeks ago on WWE RAW.
Ilja Dragunov was eyeing the Intercontinental Championship before he got injured, so he will likely step up to Breakker and face him at Bash in Berlin.
#2. The Judgment Day (c) vs. Sami Zayn and Jey Uso - World Tag Team Championship match
Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day dethroned Awesome Truth as the World Tag Team Champions on the June 24, 2024, episode of WWE RAW.
The duo has not defended the titles at all in their reign so far, which has already crossed more than a month. They suffered a loss against the team of Sami Zayn and Jey Uso on the July 22, 2024, episode of the red brand.
The tag titles have not been featured on a premium live event since being introduced by Triple H in April, but it is possible that Zayn and Jey get their potential title shot at Bash in Berlin.
#1. Nia Jax (c) vs. Charlotte Flair - WWE Women's Championship match
Nia Jax has had a very successful year so far. She became the Queen of the Ring back in May and then dethroned Bayley for the WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam.
The Irresistible Force is set to celebrate her huge win on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. It is possible that her celebration is crashed by a returning Charlotte Flair, who has been out of action since December 2023 due to a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
The Queen will likely re-join the blue brand as her husband Andrade was picked by Nick Aldis during the 2024 WWE Draft, and the Stamford-based promotion often keeps couples on the same brand. It is also pertinent to note the star was on the blue brand before her unfortunate injury.
The SmackDown Women's division does not have many top names right now who could challenge Nia Jax for her title at Bash in Berlin, so it would be the right time for Charlotte Flair to return.
The fifteen-time women's champion recently teased her return as well, so it could be another sign that she is going to be back in the ring ahead of the historic PLE in Berlin.
