5 mega-money matches that WWE could still do at future Wrestlemanias

Once in a lifetime: John Cena v Rock!
Once in a lifetime: John Cena v Rock!

Wrestlemania is fondly known as the Show of the Immortals, a place where the best of the best go head-to-head at the biggest show of the year. WWE is filled with superstars who are massively talented but have failed to deliver at a big stage. This has led to WWE using veteran Superstars to sell the show each year, and this doesn't look to end anytime soon.

This year we have Kurt Angle, Triple H, John Cena, Undertaker; four part-timers from the past Eras taking part in Wrestlemania 34. The lack of major draws on the roster is a clear indication of many more such matches taking place in the future.

We look at five such matches featuring former superstars, which could be a major talking point in the upcoming years.

#5: Triple H v Bobby Roode

The Cerebral Assassin v The Glorious One

Bobby Roode has drawn comparisons with Triple H in the past due to his looks and wrestling style. Roode came to WWE and flourished under HHH's guidance in NXT, but has struggled to find his feet on the main roster. Bobby Roode is struggling to make a name for himself and could end up becoming a personality with a great theme song and nothing else.

Triple H has been doing a good job of putting over younger Superstars in the recent years, and a match against the Glorious One will be absolutely thrilling. Triple H vs Bobby Roode may not end being a five-star match, but will surely bring an old-school feel to it.
