5 men The Undertaker should not wrestle on his return

The Undertaker is about to embark on one last ride

This week on SmackDown Live’s 900th episode, The Undertaker returned. And by returned, I don’t just mean for a quick hello-and-goodbye appearance. He actually stated that he’s on his way back to SmackDown Live as a member of the roster. In his own words, he said that WrestleMania will no longer define him.

There were five current superstars in the ring with him, at least one of whom (AJ Styles) needs to step into the ring with The Deadman before he calls it quits.

There are plenty of other guys on the WWE roster, both on SmackDown Live and on Monday Night Raw, that The Undertaker simply should not share the ring with in a one-on-one match.

Let’s take a look at five such Superstars!

#5 Randy Orton

It was a different time, but they have already done their business

The Undertaker and Randy Orton have a storied history. They spent most of 2005 trying to tear each other apart, and the feud (and matches) even included Randy’s Hall of Famer father, “Cowboy” Bob Orton.

With everything they did that year, which included Orton setting a casket on fire with Undertaker inside and finishing the feud with a Hell in a Cell match, it is best to leave the feud alone.

Chances are that at some point they will meet in a tag team match that involves Bray Wyatt and Kane, but in terms of one-on-one, WWE should leave that to Bray Wyatt.

It would be nice to see Wyatt get his win back from WrestleMania 31, but I won’t hold my breath on that. It would also be amazing to see Luke Harper get a chance to go toe-to-toe with ‘Taker in a singles match.

Not Randy Orton, though. I know they are both different wrestlers now, 11 years later, but we’ve already been there and done that.
