5 More Free Agents that AEW Should sign to become the best roster in Wrestling

All Elite Wrestling is the hottest promotion in wrestling right now, despite being days away from their first ever show, and there are plenty of positives regarding Tony Khan's wrestling company right now. One of those big ones (and perhaps the most important in today's wrestling climate) is the roster that they've assembled, and while we've got the obvious ones (The Elite, Best Friends, SCU), there are some great new stars that have become Elite already.

While they've expressed a desire to keep the roster minimal while also signing some promising young stars, there's room on the AEW roster for a few more performers to give them depth and even more variety. Today, we are going to take a look at the independent wrestling landscape and analyse 5 wrestling Free Agents that AEW should definitely take a look at to complete their already talented, stacked roster.

#5 Meiko Satomura

For years now, Meiko Satomura has been considered the 'Final Boss' in Japan, but it would be amazing for her legendary career if she were to come to AEW and put together a great run in their new women's division. Casual fans would recognise Satomura from her run to the semi-final in the second Mae Young Classic, and if she were given free rein to be herself in AEW, she'd be one of the biggest stars in the company.

Meiko is into her 40's now, so it wouldn't be a long run, but with promising young stars like Baker, Rose, Rae and Priestly on the roster, she'd do a lot to help build up what looks to be a very fun division. This is probably the most unlikely to happen, but given the 6-women tag that's taking place on the show and the companies top stars having ties to Japan, it would be great to see, and if it happens, it will be hard to deny that AEW is legit competition for WWE.
