Wondering why John Cena vs. The Undertaker is such a dream match? It’s because the two WWE icons have hardly crossed paths during their WWE careers, let alone at WrestleMania.
The only previous PPV meeting between the two men came at Vengeance 2003 when, in arguably the fourth highest-profile match on the card, ‘Taker defeated the relative WWE newcomer with a Last Ride.
Since then, and especially in the last five years, there have been persistent rumours on an annual basis about the men colliding at WrestleMania. For various reasons, it’s never happened – until this Sunday (hopefully!).
