5 new faces who should debut on RAW or SmackDown in 2019

Aleister Black's main roster debut has been long anticipated
Aleister Black's main roster debut has been long anticipated

On the RAW after TLC, Triple H mentioned a line about how we're going to see new faces and new match-ups. Then, a surprising set of superstars from NXT were announced as the next main roster call-ups.

The superstars coming up are Lars Sullivan (who we already knew about), Lacey Evans, Heavy Machinery, EC3 and Nikki Cross (who technically already made her debut).

Don't get us wrong, these are definitely an interesting set of call-ups. EC3 is the kind of superstar who's been main roster ready even before he joined NXT. He got a little shaping up and being a good talker, he should fare well.

We can't say the same about Heavy Machinery, but Lars Sullivan is obviously a huge prospect, while Lacey Evans has the look and background for the role. Nikki Cross should do fine depending on the direction they take, as they've done nothing since Sanity was called up.

Either way, we expect that these won't be the only faces that you're going to see. In the coming month or two, we may very well see these superstars come up as well.

#5 Velveteen Dream

Rocking Hollywood-themed attire, Velveteen Dream saunters to the ring.

Velveteen Dream may be the single hottest prospect in WWE today. At just 23 years of age, Velveteen Dream (real name: Patrick Clark) has risen the ranks in the WWE developmental system in no time.

Starting off as a competitor on Tough Enough, his WWE journey has seen him realise his potential, and though he may never capture the NXT Championship, bigger things lie in wait for him.

John Cena himself has called Velveteen Dream as "The One" and a superstar who he firmly believes is the future of WWE. He's main roster ready and at such a young age, the sky is the limit.
