5 Non-Bloodline members who could help Roman Reigns at WWE Royal Rumble 2024

With Roman Reigns about to face three credible wrestling veterans, he may have to come up with an out-of-the-box idea to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Royal Rumble 2024.

Over the last three years, The Tribal Chief has had fellow Bloodline members disrupt his matches to ensure successful title defenses. However, there's a strong chance that Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa will not be by his side during the star-studded Fatal-Four Way match at the Rumble.

The reason for the potential lack of Bloodline involvement would have to do with WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis being on the faction's case since his arrival last year. While this could put a major hurdle in Roman Reigns' path of dominance, there are several names on the roster who are just waiting for a chance to be in The Chief's good books.

So, let's check out five non-Bloodline WWE Superstars/teams who could help The Head of the Table retain at Royal Rumble 2024.

#5. The Judgment Day cloud bursts on Randy Orton and LA Knight

If there's one thing about Judgment Day, it's that they don't let go of grudges easily. Their recent feud with Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Seth Rollins spanned months before reaching the finish line.

Therefore, it wouldn't be out of the gothic stable's playbook to curb Randy Orton and LA Knight's chances of becoming the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

During Judgment Day's rare visit to WWE SmackDown back in October 2023, LA Knight was one of the babyfaces who got the better of them. As for The Viper, in addition to spoiling Damian Priest's cash-in attempt at Survivor Series, he embarrassed Dominik Mysterio in his first match back on RAW.

Hence, one can fully expect Paul Heyman to get in Rhea Ripley's ear once again and offer her group the opportunity to get back at Orton and Knight. This might lead to a heated 'Mania program, during which The Apex Predator might deliver a highly-anticipated RKO to Mami.

#4. Omos resurfaces on the Island of Relevancy

It's been quite some time since fans got to bask in the glory of Omos. The Nigerian Giant hasn't been seen on WWE TV since the summer of 2023.

While there are rumors of the former Tag Team Champion being repackaged, nothing is certain until his return. Thus, it's completely possible for Omos to return without any significant changes to his on-screen character or presentation.

Helping Roman Reigns steal the win would be a smart way to make an instant impact following a lengthy absence. Moreover, him costing AJ Styles, his former tag-team partner, a match of this caliber could be interesting.

On top of that, an interference by Omos, accompanied by MVP, would reinforce the claim that The Franchise Playa is a top-tier businessman.

#3. Bron Breakker kicks off his WWE main roster run by returning a favor

It's about time that The Dog of WWE NXT starts spearing the bigger fish. Interestingly, he has been 'wise' enough to make some solid connections on the main roster.

Back in October 2023, Paul Heyman decided to lend his managerial services to Bron Breakker for a night. This huge development happened on the heels of Breakker's scheduled opponent, Carmelo Hayes, receiving John Cena's support. Cena, at the time, was beefing with The Bloodline.

It can't be stated enough how well The Wiseman and the former two-time NXT Champion gelled together during their brief interactions. WWE Universe was quick to sniff the potential in this pairing.

For this reason, Breakker's main roster call-up can feature him realigning with Paul Heyman and helping Reigns walk out with the victory. That would also effortlessly plant the seeds for a future Breakker/Reigns feud.

#2. The O.C. bids a 'Too Sweet' farewell to AJ Styles' championship quest

Since AJ Styles' return to WWE a few weeks ago, he's been acting quite differently. Yes, it makes full sense for him to exact revenge on The Bloodline for taking him out in the fall.

However, his grittier side has also prompted him to ghost his best friends in The O.C. Gone are the days when the trio of AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson used to put on six-man clinics and celebrate with too-sweet gestures.

Nowadays, The Phenomenal One seems more interested in following in the footsteps of a lone wolf. Unsurprisingly, this could lead to Gallows and Anderson reaching their tipping point, resulting in a hard-hitting betrayal.

The Good Brothers snatching the win away from their best friend would be an effective way to keep Styles strong in defeat. On top of that, it could kickstart a grudge feud, forcing Styles to call someone from his past to even the odds.

#1. Under-the-radar Samoan helps Bloodline stay on top

The social media is filled with memes about gifted Samoan Superstars from other companies jumping ship to WWE to help The Tribal Chief.

However, a significant chunk of WWE Universe isn't aware that the company already has another Samoan in the house, ready to make a mark on the big stage. The talent in question is Xyon Quinn, an Aussie professional wrestler with Samoan roots.

While Quinn hasn't been given many chances to prove himself in WWE, that could change as soon as this year's Royal Rumble event. The 33-year-old could appear at the premium live event and submit his audition to join The Bloodline by taking out Orton, Knight, and Styles.

Moreover, with the premium live event after the Rumble taking place in Australia, WWE could boost Quinn's stock even higher by helping him pick up a big win in his home country under the tutelage of Paul Heyman.
