Dolph Ziggler left his United States title in the middle of the ring

Let’s be honest, this week’s episodes of SmackDown Live and 205 Live were a little disappointing.

After their respective victories over Jinder Mahal and Natalya at Clash of Champions, we’re no closer to knowing who will challenge AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair for their titles next.

As for the other championships on the blue brand, it looks like Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin will continue to feud with The Usos over the Tag Team titles, while the future of the United States title – and its new holder Dolph Ziggler – is up in the air.

In this article, we take a look at five ‘OMG’ moments from Tuesday night’s WWE programming – from a SmackDown Live retirement hint to a potential heel turn on 205 Live.

#5 Daniel Bryan compares Shane McMahon to Vince

The first ‘OMG’ moment of the night saw Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon engage in a heated war of words over their refereeing disagreements at Clash of Champions.

When Shane dared suggest that he tried to screw Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn because he is looking at what’s best “from a business standpoint”, Bryan thought the words sounded eerily familiar.

D-Bry was constantly being told by Triple H throughout 2013-14 that he wasn’t “best for business”, and the SmackDown Live General Manager suggested that Shane O’Mac was showing similar traits to his father, Vince McMahon, who is widely considered the most power-hungry authority figure of all time.

This prompted a reaction from Shane that just screamed ‘OMG’, and as is the way whenever someone’s father is mentioned these days, the WWE Universe began to chant “who's your daddy?”.
