5 Opponents for Bron Breakker following his big win at Survivor Series: WarGames

Bron Breakker is on a roll this year as part of WWE’s main roster. The 27-year-old successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Breakker continues to gain momentum with every passing match, and if he can sustain it, expect him to be a major threat to the top guys of the company.

So, what is next for the second-generation superstar? Here are five possible opponents for WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker:

#5. Dominik Mysterio could challenge The Dog of WWE for the Intercontinental Title

The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio has turned himself into a certified heat magnet since he turned heel in 2022. Like Bron Breakker, The Latino Cheat is also hungry for gold. The 27-year-old expressed his interest in capturing the WWE Intercontinental Championship when Jey Uso held the gold this past October.

The YEET Master may no longer have the champion, but the young Mysterio may still be in pursuit of the prestigious belt.

#4. He could be booked in a feud with Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman, one of WWE’s strongmen, could be a tough customer for Bron Breakker. However, fans are aware that Breakker never backs down from a challenge, and his intensity during his matches is infectious. To that end, such a matchup is a must-see.

Wrestling pundits have previously compared the two stars, suggesting they seemingly have a similar arsenal of movesets. The Monster Among Men has a penchant for running around the ring and destroying every opponent in his path, and the same can be said for the reigning Intercontinental Champion.

The two stars had a bit of a confrontation during the September 9 episode of WWE RAW, with the red brand seemingly hinting that a match (or even a feud) between them was being cooked up.

Jey Uso winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Bron Breakker in September was a momentous event, especially for the OG Bloodline member. This was Jey's maiden singles title since his main roster debut over a decade ago.

Unfortunately, his reign was cut short during the October 21 edition of RAW when he failed to defend the belt against Breakker.

Fans of The YEET Man were bummed to witness his reign come to an abrupt end. Many expected a rubber match between the two stars, but such a face-off never came to fruition.

Main Event Jey may have reunited with his OG Bloodline crew, but revisiting his rivalry with The Dog of WWE and having a rubber bout could branch out another angle to Jey’s feud with Breakker.

#2. He could join forces with the OG Bloodline’s Wiseman, Paul Heyman

WWE Hall of Famer and the OG Bloodline’s Wiseman Paul Heyman has contributed to building up the careers of numerous top stars in the business. For those unaware, Bron Breakker and Heyman had a brief partnership when the former was still in NXT.

Heyman was in Breakker’s corner during an episode of the developmental brand in October 2023 when the former NXT Champion was pitted against Carmelo Hayes (alongside John Cena). Before the match, the two had a backstage segment in which Heyman complimented Bron. At the end of it, the 59-year-old pulled out his phone and called his Tribal Chief.

When asked about his potential pairing with Heyman on the main roster during the post-Survivor Series: WarGames presser, Breakker responded that the “door’s definitely open.”

#1. Bron Breakker vs. Brock Lesnar

Since Bron Breakker can potentially be the next "Paul Heyman Guy" somewhere down the line, there is also a possibility that he may get entangled with The Wiseman’s former client, Brock Lesnar.

When Paul Heyman aligned with Roman earlier this decade, The Beast revealed in an interview that he was a bit jealous. Brock highlighted that the legendary manager took him under his wing for quite some time, adding that Heyman betraying him to join forces with Reigns made him feel like it was a real storyline.

It is safe to suggest that The Beast Incarnate keeps himself in the loop with what’s happening in WWE, especially with Heyman. If The Wiseman aligns with Breakker in the future, Brock could return to confront the young champion.
