5 opponents for Seth Rollins from the SmackDown Live roster
If you are a true WWE fan, then you won't be able to deny the fact that Seth Rollins is one of the best talents that the WWE can offer right now. Rollins excels in all aspects of wrestling, be it mic work, character presentation, in-ring ability, or athleticism.
Rollins has been called by many names, such as "The Architect", "The Man", and "The Kingslayer". But whatever he may be called, he has proven time and again that he is a significant asset to the WWE.
Speaking of his accomplishments, Rollins was the inaugural NXT champion; he is also a three-time Tag Team Champion, former US Champion and a two-time WWE Champion. Rollins also boasts of being the first and the only guy to have cashed-in the Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania, in a winning effort. The list is certainly quite impressive.
Rollins recently displayed his "Iron Man" side to the WWE Universe when he wrestled for one straight hour, defeating both Roman Reigns and John Cena in the process. Now that is something we probably won't get to see ever again.
Rollins has faced almost everyone in the Raw roster, and now he is in a serious need for fresh opponents. The best way to ensure that it happens, would be by transferring Rollins to SmackDown Live in the next superstar shake-up.
Which Superstars from the SmackDown Live roster could bring it up to "The Man"? Let's explore the list.
#5 Bobby Roode
"The Glorious One" has been quite successful in the WWE. Within 6 months of his main roster call-up, Roode won the United States Championship, which he recently dropped to "The Viper" Randy Orton at Fastlane. Roode was also a part of Team SD for the traditional Survivor Series match in 2017. Bobby Roode is a former NXT champion as well.
Bobby Roode had a good feud with Shinsuke Nakamura over the NXT title and with Dolph Ziggler over the US title in the past. Right now, all the signs point towards a triple threat match between Orton, Mahal and Roode for the US title at this year's WrestleMania.
Roode's path after WrestleMania seems to be a bit unclear. But if Rollins is to be drafted to SmackDown! Live post WrestleMania, Roode could be the man to answer Rollins's call for a challenge. We can expect to see a few good matches between the two.
