5 picks to win the first Women's Royal Rumble match

Could it be?

Since it's inception in 1988, The Royal Rumble has been one of the WWE's most iconic annual events. Joining Survivor Series, SummerSlam, and Wrestlemania, The Rumble is one of the elite pay-per-view's known by most fans as "The Big Four."

Each year fans look forward to the January event because of its history, unpredictability and of course because The Royal Rumble represents the official start of Wrestlemania Season.

The main event of each year's Rumble is the actual Royal Rumble match itself. The winner of this match guarantees himself a spot in the main event at Wrestlemania. Needless to say, the stakes are high for this particular contest. However, one issue that some have taken with this annual event, is the fact that the ladies of WWE don't have a Rumble match to compete in.

But things have changed and the sport has evolved in regards to the way fans, as well as the company perceives women's wrestling.

With that said, is it finally time to share the spotlight with the ladies? Who would be a good candidate to represent the women's division as the potential first ever Royal Rumble match winner and possibly go on to co-headline Wrestlemania?

Here's a look at my 5 picks to be the first female to win an all women's Royal Rumble match.

#5 Sarah Logan

The ceiling is high for this new Superstar!

Let's go ahead and kick this list off with our longshot. Sarah Logan recently exploded onto the main roster as the muscle behind the newly formed women's faction known as The Riott Squad. I have been extremely high on this star ever since the news broke of her signing a WWE contract.

During her pre-WWE career, she was known by her former alias, which was "Crazy Mary Dobson." It was during this time that she began to turn heads and ultimately, gain the attention of WWE officials.

The time to buy Sarah Logan stock is NOW! I predict she will be the one to break away from her stable and achieve the most success. In fact, a win of this stature, in a match such as the first women's Royal Rumble, would be the perfect catalyst for a run as a big time WWE Superstar.
