5 possible finishes for Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Iyo Sky finally gets a shot at the Women's World Championship at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. The Genius of the Sky won a battle royale in November to earn a chance to face Liv Morgan.

After several weeks of focusing on the build to WarGames, that title shot could change the landscape of RAW's women's division before the year ends.

Can Morgan maintain her title run into 2025 or will it be The Genius of the Sky Era? The next five finishes are possible between Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky are possible at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.

WWE may want to keep the same Champions heading into RAW's debut on Netflix in early 2025. The easiest finish would be if Liv Morgan wins cleanly at Saturday Night's Main Event.

She can move on to different challenges like another showdown with Ripley since Mami pinned her to win WarGames for her team. The title picture could use some shaking up since Morgan has held the title since around June.

However, the safest option should bookers decide to go with it would be Liv Morgan winning at Saturday Night's Main Event.

#4. Rhea Ripley helps Iyo Sky win

Raw ended with both Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley holding onto the Women’s World Championship. Ripley will certainly have something to say during the match and may need to appear to offset Raquel Rodriguez's likely interference.

Dominik Mysterio and the rest of the Judgment Day could also try to prevent Sky from winning. While Damage CTRL could help out, expect Ripley to show up.

The referee could easily get distracted, allowing Ripley to return the favor and cost Morgan the title. Her actions could lead to The Genius of the Sky winning another singles title.

#3. Morgan wins but a post-match attack from Ripley leads to a cash-in

If Rodriguez interferes to help Morgan win, another possibility could play out. If Ripley doesn’t make her presence felt during the actual match, she could blindside her after it.

Retaining the title would close the door on one foe but open her up to another threat. Ripley could take out Raquel Rodriguez before she beats her up Morgan, leaving her lying on the ground.

This would leave a huge opening for Tiffany Stratton to potentially cash in and become the new Women’s World Champion. There must be some big moments within the next few weeks to set things up for the RAW's debut on Netflix.

Two women who aren't involved in the match will certainly play into the outcome at Saturday Night's Main Event. Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez faced off in the main event of RAW with Mami beating Rodriguez in a no-disqualification match.

Morgan attacked Ripley after the brawl, but the lasting image that ended RAW was Ripley and Sky holding the Women’s World title at the same time.

There’s a very strong possibility that Ripley may try to help Iyo but accidentally cost her the match. This could lead to a brief feud to end 2024 before one moves to SmackDown.

#1. Iyo Sky or Rhea Ripley wins but has an extremely short reign

If WWE officials really want to change the status quo that’s been on RAW throughout 2024, they could shock the world by booking Sky to win the Women’s World Championship.

It would be a great moment for Saturday Night's Main Event. If it does happen, she may not be able to celebrate for long. A returning star like Alexa Bliss or Charlotte Flair could attack her to set things up for a future showdown.

Raquel Rodriguez could blindside the new champion, leaving her vulnerable to a cash-in from Tiffany Stratton. Even though Sky is popular, a lot of fans would still cheer if Tiffany Stratton won the Women's World Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event.
