5 Possible matches for WrestleMania 35 after Fastlane 2019
WWE Fastlane 2019 is finally in the books after so much anticipation for the event. This was the final stop on the "Road to WrestleMania" and now we are heading to the Show of Shows.
There were no title changes in this show but lots of changes were made to matches at the last moment. Mustafa Ali was added in the WWE Championship match making it a triple threat involving the champion Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens.
The new United States Champion defended his title in a Fatal 4-Way Match against former champion R-Truth, Andrade and Rey Mysterio, and Kofi Kingston who demanded Vince McMahon to insert him in the WWE Title match was forced to face The Bar in a 2-on-1 handicap match.
But this pay-per-view hinted us the possible matches we could get at WrestleMania 35 this year. So here are five matches that might happen at the Show of Shows following Fastlane...
#5 Shane McMahon vs. The Miz
This match has been rumored for a long time, since the time Shane McMahon replaced an injured The Miz to win the WWE World Cup at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, he was expected to face Miz going forward at WrestleMania 35.
After losing their SmackDown Tag Team Titles rematch against The Usos at WWE Fastlane, Shane McMahon turned heel and attacked Miz, possibly building a feud between the duo at the Show of Shows.
This heel turn was a smart move from WWE's side because WWE Fastlane took place in Miz's hometown Cleveland, Ohio. So, Shane turning heel and taking down the hometown hero received a huge negative reaction which is good for this rivalry.
Now, Shane and Miz are not the best in-ring competitors and a match between them doesn't sound exciting, but with Shane turning heel, this could mean we are headed for a Miz babyface turn which fans have been clamoring to see.
