5 possible next steps for Roman Reigns

The Big Dog is struggling
The Big Dog is struggling

We aren't going to sugarcoat it, but, things aren't looking good for 'The Big Dog' Roman Reigns.

While his reactions during live events are consistently strong, the crowds at the pay per views and on Monday Night Raw just refuse to accept him as a babyface.

His stock seems to be dropping pretty rapidly, and some would argue that WrestleMania 34 was the final nail in the coffin.

It marked the second time in three years that Reigns had lost in a Mania main event involving Brock Lesnar, and with Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman on the rise, it seems as if WWE are interested in finding a new 'top guy'.

Still, all hope is not lost for Reigns, as we've come up with a handful of potential directions for him moving forward.

With that being said, here are five possible next steps for Roman Reigns.

#5 Time Off

Get some rest, Roman
Get some rest, Reigns

This may sound a little risky given how much of a draw Reigns can be at times, but perhaps, giving him some time off would allow the fans some time off from booing him so mercilessly.

It's clear to see that there needs to be a new creative direction for the guy, and Reigns has been busting his tail on the house show circuit for god knows how long now.

There are enough big names on the Raw roster for this to work effectively, and it all comes down to whether or not WWE are willing to take a leap of faith.

When he returns, have it be in a pro-Roman crowd (if there is such a thing anymore), if they insist on carrying on with him being a babyface.

If they want to go in a different direction, then they'll need to come up with something a little more daring.
