Ranking The 5 Greatest WrestleMania Main Events Of All Time
WrestleMania is the Grand Daddy of them All, and the biggest event on the wrestling calendar, where WWE like to celebrate all the best in wrestling, and the performers that make the company what it is. With the 70,000+ people that are usually in attendance, and the millions watching at home, the performers need to be on their game, and it's this PPV that proves just how important the main event slot is.
In 2019, it's likely that we will get females in the WrestleMania main event for the first time in history, but before we get to that, we've decided to look back on the past, and the 5 greatest main events in WrestleMania history.
So what do you think? Are there any main events you'd put above these 5? What do you think of the WWE adding Charlotte to WrestleMania 35's likely main event? As always, let us know all your thoughts and ideas in the comments below.
#5 WrestleMania 31 - Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns
Going into this, there were few people in the WWE Universe who were excited to see Lesnar vs. Reigns, and while it turned out to be a fantastic, hard-hitting bout, it was the introduction of Seth Rollins that saved the main event. It was always going to be hard to follow WrestleMania 30's main event, but with the shock of the century when Seth Rollins cashed in Money in the Bank, they did a fairly good job.
The heel Rollins got a major pop when he delivered the Curb Stomp to Roman Reigns, and it's clear that WWE made the right choice by putting the top belt on The Architect. It's not the last time that Brock and Roman did battle on the Grandest Stage of Them All, but this was easily their best match, and with the finish, it's easily one of the best finishes to a 'Mania in history.
