5 RAW stars who should stand up to Bron Breakker following recent WWE incident - Returning veteran, Hall of Famer & more
Bron Breakker has already started to cause trouble on WWE RAW. The former NXT Champion was not booked for the King of the Ring tournament by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and has not reacted well to the omission.
He brutally attacked his opponent tonight on RAW, Kale Dixon, and sent him home in an ambulance. Breakker told Pearce backstage that it was his fault for not booking him in the King of the Ring tournament and added that he could not be controlled.
Listed below are five WWE RAW stars who should step up to Bron Breakker following his brutal beatdown of Kale Dixon tonight:
#5. Adam Pearce could challenge Bron Breakker on WWE RAW
Adam Pearce currently serves as the General Manager of the red brand but is also a former professional wrestler. Pearce is a former five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and could feel compelled to return to the in-ring action after being disrespected by Bron Breakker.
Pearce could challenge Breakker to a match in an effort to protect the RAW locker room. Breakker would likely dominate the match, but it could also lead to the 26-year-old having more respect for Pearce as an authority figure.
#4. Ricochet could step up to Bron Breakker on WWE RAW
Ricochet has not competed in a match since his loss to Ilja Dragunov on the May 6 edition of RAW. He confronted Dragunov backstage during tonight's RAW but was attacked by Bron Breakker.
The WWE Speed Champion and Bron Breakker could have a rivalry over the next few weeks. Ricochet is a great athlete and will likely make Breakker look like a star when the two square off against each other.
#3. Ilja Dragunov could go after Bron Breakker
Ilja Dragunov was eliminated by Jey Uso in the King of the Ring tournament last week. The former NXT Champion has the potential to be a huge star on the main roster, and could be frustrated with how Bron Breakker is going about his business.
If Ricochet fails to put a stop to Breakker's chaos, Dragunov could step up to challenge him. The two former NXT Champions are going to be part of the future of the company, and a rivalry would be a great way to get the WWE Universe invested in both of them.
#2. Rey Mysterio could try to teach Breakker a lesson
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio is currently in the Latino World Order on RAW and is involved in a rivalry with Carlito and The Judgment Day. However, the veteran could approach Adam Pearce in the coming weeks and ask for a match against Bron Breakker.
The legend is beloved by the WWE Universe, and fans would support Mysterio in a rivalry against the former champion. Bron Breakker may also be able to draw a lot of heat from wrestling fans if he brutally attacks Rey Mysterio as he did Kale Dixon tonight on RAW.
#1. Sheamus would be an interesting first rival for Bron Breakker on WWE RAW
Sheamus missed several months of action following his loss to Edge, now known as Adam Copeland in AEW, on the August 18, 2023 edition of SmackDown. He returned on the April 15 edition of RAW and picked up a win over Ivar.
The Celtic Warrior also competed in the King of the Ring tournament but was eliminated by Gunther on the May 6 edition of the red brand.
The veteran would be an excellent first rival for Bron Breakker on the main roster. Sheamus could take Breakker to the limit to show what the up-and-comer is capable of. A victory over Sheamus would be very meaningful for Breakker, as it would show that he can hang with the best on the main roster.
