Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly one of the most qualified Superstars to ever hold the WWE title. His extraordinary athleticism, presence in the ring and in the octagon makes him a highly credible Champion. However, given Lesnar's current status in the company, he shouldn't have the title, nor does he need it.
With Lesnar rumored to be competing in the UFC in the not-too-distant future, his schedule with WWE might be even lighter than it is now. Can WWE afford to have one of their main Champions not completely focused on their product?
Lesnar is due to face Reigns again at the Greatest Royal Rumble Ever in a steel cage match and it would make sense for him to drop the title here, given his status with the company and Roman Reigns inevitably being the main guy for WWE going forward.
Here are five reasons why Lesnar should not be the WWE Universal Champion.
#5 He doesn't do promos

Instead of doing promos himself, Lesnar has Paul Heyman do all his talking. Although Heyman's promo skills are up there with the best, a champion should be able to at least talk by himself every now and then. It feels lazy to not have Lesnar verbally engage with his opponents from time to time.
Lesnar's promo with Samoa Joe on Raw in July in 2017 showed that he can engage well with his opponents, but for the most part, this doesn't happen. It isn't that Lesnar is bad at talking, but more so that he'd rather have somebody else do his talking for him.
With other stars needing to be strong on the mic, it is odd that Lesnar is given a pass in this area by WWE and the fact that he only wrestles at pay-per-views should reinforce the idea that he should do more promo work in order to get the matches over.
