5 reasons Nia Jax should be WWE Raw Women's Champion

Nia Jax truly is a force of greatness

Nia Jax is one of the most imposing female wrestlers to have ever graced the squared circle.

The mighty Samoan truly is a Force of Nature but, oddly enough, she's never been a champion during her WWE career. The 33-year-old Jax is on a leave of absence from RAW and will return during the promotion's European tour.

Regardless, given that Jax is likely to return sooner rather than later, a vast majority of fans have been clamouring for her to be pushed as the RAW Women’s Champion. She’s strong, imposing and has an intimidating personality. Here are a select few reasons which more than merit her claim to the red brand’s throne—

#5 A worthy foe

Firstly, one ought to address the elephant in the room: Asuka’s RAW debut. All signs point towards the Empress of Tomorrow becoming the Raw Women's Champion at some point in the future.

Given that Nia Jax and Asuka have indeed faced each other in NXT— with said competition between the two powerhouses culminating in beautiful ring-work — it’s safe to say that putting the title on Jax and having the two feud over it makes all the sense in the world.

Additionally, the rest of the Raw roster, including current titleholder Alexa Bliss, may find going toe-to-toe with Asuka a rather daunting task. However, Jax matches up stupendously with the Empress of Tomorrow.

Should the WWE book a long, gruelling program between the two over the Women’s Division’s biggest prize, the fans would be guaranteed an incredible feud on Monday Night RAW.
