5 Reasons why the House of Horrors match was a failure

Randy wasn’t impressed either by “scary sticks”.

Well, that was insane.

Ever since the “House of Horrors” match was announced, the fans were left wondering. What is in this match? Will it actually be scary? Will it have lots of stupid bugs like at WrestleMania? Will Bray simply be wearing a clown mask or something?

The possibilities were endless and potentially very stupid. Needless to say, the WWE didn’t disappoint. It really was that stupid. Randy, watch out for that “killer fridge”!

With the craziness of the match still fresh in my mind, I present my list of the 5 Reasons the House of Horrors Match was a Failure:

#5 It wasn’t scary

I guess Bray’s ability to light a house is scary?

I don’t have many expectations from a “House of Horrors” match. But the Horror part is one of my biggest expectations for a match with that name. However, the WWE is a family friendly PG company so that is what we got. It was a cheesy and a ridiculous excuse for a supposedly “scary” haunted house.

It didn’t help that Randy Orton wasn’t scared at any point in the match. He mainly just looked around the house as Bray occasionally disappeared before his next attack. Do you really think Orton was going to get scared by some creepy dolls, a pile of sticks or a dirty kitchen? If he was supposed to be afraid, Randy didn’t sell it that well.

The WWE had a good chance to actual end it with a bang. It would have been fitting to set the house on fire with Randy Orton trapped inside under that fridge. Instead, Bray Wyatt simply changed the colors of the house. I can do that with Christmas Tree Lights Bray. Has no one in the WWE ever watched a horror movie?
