5 reasons why Triple H just hit the jackpot with major recent WWE signing

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has added several new stars to the roster in the past few years. However, Japanese professional wrestler Giulia could well be The Game's greatest acquisition.

News about Giulia's signing with WWE started circulating earlier this year when she was spotted in the audience at NXT Stand & Deliver. After finishing up her duties in Japan, the talented star finally made her official debut at No Mercy, where the 30-year-old confronted reigning NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez.

On this week's episode of the Tuesday Night Show, the Japanese star made her in-ring debut in the company against Chelsea Green. Despite only having a few appearances, Giulia has already proven that she is slated to be one of the biggest stars in the company.

For this list, we will look at five reasons why Triple H hit a major jackpot by signing Giulia:

#5. Already a well-known name in different countries

Wrestlers who compete in different countries before joining the Stamford-based company often have a bigger advantage, as they already have an established fan base and reputation, much like the NXT star.

Giulia competed in top Japanese companies like STARDOM and NJPW, which meant that some fans already knew about her talent before she signed with WWE.

#4. Good fan reception from her first appearance

Fans gave a resounding applause to Giulia during her first few appearances in the company, whether that may be during Stand & Deliver, at No Mercy, or during her first match this week against Chelsea Green.

Getting cheered on by fans in her maiden match for the promotion was a testimony to her popularity, especially since the star went against a wrestling veteran and fan favorite Chelsea Green.

Giulia's match with Chelsea was the highest-viewed quarter at 709,000, and her match uploaded on YouTube is the most watched from the episode at 198,000.

#3. USA Network already thinks of her in high regard

Apart from the WWE Universe, the USA Network has already started treating her as a top star in such a short span.

As of this writing, Giulia is already part of NXT/USA Network's banner. Joining the 30-year-old is CM Punk from Monday Night RAW and SmackDown's Cody Rhodes.

#2. Giulia's appearance has possibly outshone TNA stars appearing on WWE NXT recently

Before Giulia's presence, the talk of the town surrounding the Tuesday Night Show was the brand's partnership with TNA. Stars like Joe Hendry, Rosemary, Jordynne Grace, and more have already appeared in NXT, but the Japanese star might have gotten a better and bigger reception.

Like this week on NXT, Jordynne Grace appeared to defend her TNA Knockout's World Title against Sol Ruca. Rosemary and The Bloodline also appeared during the episode. However, it was Giulia who was the biggest talking point from this week's episode.

#1. Giulia still has a long way to go in WWE

The careers of some wrestlers tend to slow down once they reach their 30s, as at that point, they have already engaged in their dream feuds, competed in interesting matches, and won several accomplishments. However, the Japanese star is just getting started.

The 30-year-old still performs at a high level, clearly in her prime years in the ring, and one can't rule out the fact that she would rule the women's division of the main roster in the future.
